#86 Could not run TiEmu
Hello!
I get the error: "Could not find msvcr80.dll".
Maybe the error is because of newer version of WinXP especially SP3.
the msvcr80.dll ist not I think as required in the C:\WINDOWS\system32 directory but somewere in the C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS
Just to copy was not enough ;-) then there was a C-Runtime Error or something like that.

Where did you get TiEmu from? Is it a version with or without GDB? What version number?
Where did you get your GTK+ from? Did you let TiEmu install the recommended one or did you already have GTK+ installed on the system?
tiemu-3.02a-win32 was the install file
from: sourceforge.net
so version 3.02 TiEmu
I am not explicite sure but I think without GDB!
I wanted to let TiEmu install GTK+, but it didn't work...
so maybe I had the same or a similar problem as jeffconnelly: 1891657 "TiEmu can't find glib-2.0-0.dll from Glib 2.14.3", so i downloadet GTK+ from souceforge.net - "gtk2-runtime-2.14.6-2008-12-17-ash" ?
But beside that I did lot of other installation and testing with different GTK+ installations and several new installations of TiEmu - always with the same result.
I hope that is described enough precise.

No answer to Kevin's question => bug closed.
Actually, he did answer at least part of my questions. However, this seems to be a bug with the GTK+ runtime he's using.
For the reporter: please try the runtime from http://gladewin32.sourceforge.net/ .
