Every town that has houses for rent could have a post office. Players who have bought a house in that town also gets access to the post office. Players could then send items to each other.
I'm not sure if that is a good idea. Each town has a bank already and players who own more than one char could abuse post offices with sending items easily around without having to use scrolls and getting them on their own. The whole item/bank system would be somehow useless then.

I guess I don't understand your argument, but, it is already easy to get items from one char to another, especially by using marriage/wedding ring. If we are worried about multiple account abuse then perhaps we should implement a system that checks if two characters are on the same account, then deny item transactions in all cases. However, I do not think this is a good idea. I think players really enjoy the freedom that they have on interacting between characters.
The post offices would have a box limit, say, 3 items max in a box. No items could be sent until some are removed. Also, fees could be used, say 250 money. That would make up for purchasing scrolls, at least home scrolls.

Or perhaps a wait period could be issued. The receiving character could not pick up the package (due to delivery time) until the wait time is over. Perhaps somewhere between 1-6 hours.

in addition, the item will send back or will deleted from postbox after 7 days. And a new tab in the menu "postbox" for incoming items or postman shout after login.
