Privoxy's current FAQ section 5.2 states "The solution [to endless 503 errors] is to either fight the Z[one]A[larm] configuration, or uninstall ZoneAlarm, and then find something better behaved in its place." Which better-behaved alternatives to ZoneAlarm are known to work with Privoxy?

Privoxy v3.0.6;
Windows XP Professional SP2;
Firefox v2.0.0.6;
503 errors for any/every attempt to access webpages;
Presently using ZoneAlarm v7.0.337.000;
Trying to use Privoxy with Tor.

    I use Sunbelt/Kerio Personal Firewall. Works just fine but requires a bit more intelligence on the end user than ZoneAlarm.
