#41 help placing banner please??
i need to place a banner in my mrbs site then my site
will be hosted free, they say i need to include the
following code:
in which file(s) do i put it and where exactly, and do i
need to make changes to the code to insert it.
I have no knowledge of PHP, but have found the
software great so far - usually the sites insert their own
banners, but this one makes me do it - and this is the
prob.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
I need to get this done in the next few days or my site
will be deleted :(

To put the banner across the top of ever page then you can
do the following:
- find the file functions.inc and open it in an editor.
- Scroll down until you find the <BODY> line:
<BODY BGCOLOR="#ffffed" TEXT="black" LINK="#5B69A6" VLINK="#5B69A6" ALINK="red" -="" a="" few="" lines="" after="" this="" there="" is="" a="" <TABLE=""> tag
- paste the code that you have been sent into the empty line
immediately above the <TABLE> tag and make sure that all
of the code appears on one line.
This should work and keep your site alive.
