Firefox use privoxy after (!) de-installation

First, sorry for my bad english.
I installed tor and privoxy a few days ago and it worked fine. As i tryed to use an age verification system (x-check) it doesnt worked with privoxy so i de-installed privoxy and tor. The interesting point is, firefox still connects to privoxy.org (status bar in the bottom of ff shows that) and the age verification system doesnt work anyway.
Seems that privoxy is still somewhere "in the system" but i cant find the leavings in my system (firefox says: no proxy used und privoxy and tor are not installed anymore).
