Erna stops conversation if you need to pay for a rented item, but don't have enough money in bag (3000).
I didn't go further and pay the 3000, hope to get that item back from Ortiv to save. ? thanks geomac.
you don't get the item bag from Ortiv, that is made by design... You have to bring him the pestle and mortar and if you ever need one again, you have to pay for the last one by Erna...

... Pestle and Mortar are normally just used for Ortivs quest so far...
