portea is built for residential communities: gated complexes, condominiums and apartment buildings run by an owners’ association (HOA). In Colombia these are called “propiedad horizontal”. The main buyers are property administrators, professional property management companies and the communities’ boards of directors. Every day it’s used by residents, doormen, concierges and security staff. It also helps security companies and access control integrators that serve these buildings, as well as real estate developers who want to hand over new projects with digital access from day one. We start in Colombia, and the product fits any Latin American market with gated communities, such as Mexico and Chile.
About portea
portea is a cloud property and community management platform for residential buildings and gated communities. It connects residents, administrators and lobby or security staff through mobile and web workflows. Residents can register visitors, issue QR invitations or entry codes, receive delivery notices, reserve shared facilities, read community announcements, submit requests and participate in virtual meetings. Front-desk teams can validate arrivals, record parcels and vehicle entries, and review digital activity logs. Administrators manage resident records, access permissions, communications, requests, amenities and assembly workflows through a web console. The platform also supports payment collection and connection to compatible intercom, access-control and gate equipment, helping communities coordinate operations and entry management. Resident and staff functions are available through mobile apps.
