About myTaxExpress

This program can efile Auth a Representative (former T1013) and RC59 form to CRA system. You need a valid EFiler ID/Password to do so. Each type of form consumes some paid points for EFiling/Print. This is a fairly new program, many more improvements are expected in the up-coming software release. You can share some tax forms and slips between couples in a coupled tax return and assign a percentage for either person's claim. If you change the amount in one shared tax form/slip, the amount is adjusted in the coupled return automatically. No matter you are an employee, or have self-business (like Business, Commission, Rental, Professional, Farming, CAIS Farming Fishing), or both situation apply to you, myTaxExpress can do your tax return.

    "Worst Company"

    Pros: Zero problem. Not only price is cheap but service is even cheaper level. They don't deserve to be in business.

    Cons: Worst company and customer service. One of the worst customer service and poor software. They should learn first before selling the service

    Overall: Worst experience. I hope they shut the business as they don't deserve to be in this industry. I am going to report them.

    "Inaccurate Autofill- 2023"

    Pros: I had been using this software for many years. The 2023 application was a fail as it didn't correctly calculate investments that had been submitted to CRA prior to filing.

    Cons: I used the myTaxExpress "auto fill" (all the documents were processed by CRA prior to my filing) for 2023.

    Overall: A year later I'm getting re-assessed owing more money and a $155 late filing penalty. This software is inaccurate if you have investments to claim.

    "Terrible customer service"

    Pros: Cheap. Can net file directly. I need to put in one hundred characters but not sure what else to say.

    Cons: Very laborious to complete. UI is from the dark ages. Customer service was quite rude when I submitted a ticket for an error. Their response was, "No means you filed previously, right?" And after I answered yes there was no response until I wrote them again a week later and then they were quite rude and said "Why don't just ignore the error?" Really?!? That's customer service?

    Overall: I've been using the software for a year is and normally the customer service is helpful but this time they were quite rude. Not sure where they are located but their response isn't in complete sentences and are very short.
