    Pros: One of the easiest movie editing tools. It is a great stepping stone into more complex softwares. I also love how you can edit movies either on your computer or on the iMovie app.

    Cons: There is definitely a learning curve when it comes to knowing how to use the software. But, once you get it down it is quite user friendly.

    Overall: Overall, if you are wanting to make a movie that looks somewhat professional, but keep it easy to do, iMovie is your place to go. It isn't the most complex software, so there won't be as many features, but that makes it so it is easy to use.

    Pros: It's hard to beat a program that's FREE! Not only that, but it has enough functionality to meet most any need for a beginner to medium level movie maker.

    Cons: The only con would be that it has to be run on a Mac. But, if you buy a Mac, it's already included :-)

    Pros: Comes preinstalled on Mac OS.
    Easy to use for beginners.
    Best for editing small videos or just edit a small project that does not have much effects.

    Cons: I have found no cons in using this and works pretty well for me.

    Overall: I used it to edit my screen capture to just demonstrate a small code and was easily finished in around 20-30 mins.

    Pros: I wanted something that was easy to edit videos I was making and this fit perfectly. I already use Apple for everything and this was the perfect fit.

    Cons: I wish I could do more with it but for free software if you have an Apple it is worth it.

    Overall: Overall a great product and very easy. I like that you cannot do much with it so you do not get lost if you are starting out with editing.

    "Pretty User Friendly"

    Pros: I needed to make a video for my father-in-law's 80th birthday. I had never used iMovie before. It took some googling and getting used to the layout, but I was able to build a 15 minute video with embedded videos and music in about a day.

    Cons: The help within the product is sub par. I had to google to find how to perform functions within the product.

    Overall: I would definitely recommend this product, but be prepared to have to find things out on your own. If you are technologically savvy, this product will do the trick.
