Users need to be signed into an eBay account to interact with an eBay Live event, and participation is currently available only to users registered in the US. Shoppers can find upcoming events through the eBay Live Hub, set reminders, follow favorite sellers, and enable push notifications for event reminders, followed sellers, and relevant event recommendations. eBay Live activity is public, meaning a user’s username and live activity are viewable to livestream attendees, and livestreams may be recorded or used by other users. Sellers can offer items through Buy It Now listings or live auction listings, including extended auctions, also known as soft-close auctions, where an extra five seconds are added if a bid is placed in the final five seconds.
