Pros: I’ve been buying and selling sneakers on eBay for 3 years. I love that they now offer a sneaker authentication service, as well as acting as a middle person to protect both the buyer and seller.

Cons: Compared to selling on other sneaker reselling apps, it can take longer to longer to list your items, since you need to upload photos and fill out descriptions. Also calculating your payouts can also be a little confusing based on the way the fees are charged.

Overall: Overall it’s a good app to buy and sell items. The fees are reasonable and the buyer and seller protection is good. I’ll continue to use eBay to buy and sell items.

Pros: I have sold quite a few things from here. But also like to find random cool things to buy from here as well. I have found so many old games and shoes in good condition! Love seeing what other people try to get rid of.

Cons: Usually the reviews of a store are correct. But there are ways to pay and get good reviews so people will trust you and you can scam them.

Overall: eBay was the beginning online Flea Markets imo. Really fun to just "walk" up and down and see what people have.

Pros: Basically a large, sanctioned flea market, allowing for all sorts of odds and ends to be sourced, whether they be out of print, large lots, or niche products.

Cons: If you end up getting something wrong, it can lead to a lot of hoop jumping to fix. Sellers can also cancel late into or after sales.

Overall: It's an online garage sale auction house and is great for finding whatever you need as long as you're patient and able to accept it won't always go smoothly.

Pros: You can sell just about anything on ebay. The mobile app complements the website well. Very comprehensive seller tools.

Cons: Customer support is hit or miss. Lots of push notifications. Option to be payed into paypal was taken away.

Overall: Others come and go, but ebay remains top dog. There may be some misgivings about using it because of customer service or high cut of sales, but it still is the go-to for junk/treasure selling.

Pros: There are lots of unique items for sale on eBay. eBay also doesn't take as much of the seller's profit as another place, such as Amazon.

Cons: There are so many fake buyers who win auctions, make up complaints, then try to get the seller kicked off of eBay. I had this happen twice myself.

Overall: After the issues I had with eBay, I left it for good. It's not worth the headache. I would look elsewhere for buying and selling your items.

Pros: Ebay provides almost every essential to the customers all around the world with a huge backend sellers and items inventory. The prices of items are would be different for same product by the different sellers, so the buyers need to be smart while shopping on Ebay.

Cons: Fake sellers and low quality items by some make it bad experience for the shoppers at times.

Overall: Overall it's a huge bonus to get everything with multiple choices and price tags at one place and that too with the extra satisfaction layer of Ebay's money back guarantee.

Pros: There are a lot of products available from everywhere at good prices. Good place for buyers and seller to connect.

Cons: The platform is unregulated and cheap quality products are common.

Overall: Although it is nicely designed and a good platform but it should do something to control quality and avoid frauds.

Pros: eBay is big market place like others in the commerce industry , but the thing which makes it different from the other stores is that anyone can sell their used products too at a reasonable price.

Cons: There are so many sellers registered on eBay with false descriptions of their products and buyers get defective products at times.

Overall: It is the best place to start your own business on a smaller scale for a side income but beware to sell genuine products to make your worth in the market.

Pros: eBay is a very big platform for E-Commerce business and it is a good marketplace for both sellers and buyers. We can get everything from eBay online store and as well can sell our used or unused items conveniently at good prices.

Cons: There are some fake sellers on eBay, which makes the shopping experience worst at times.

Overall: Overall eBay is one of the biggest marketplace in the world and has its roots all around the world. It is good place for selling your goods with decent deals.

Pros: I've rarely had any problems as a seller or a buyer. Items usually sell in under a week for most things.so long as you take a lot of decent photos and ship out in a timely manner, you shouldn't run into any issues. eBay automatically fills in a lot of information for commonly sold items.

Cons: You can run into scammers every now and then. I've used ebay for about ten years now and I've run into 2 scammers. That's pretty good, but it's something to watch out for. Fees keep rising every year too.

Overall: I've used eBay for at least a decade and had few problems. It's a good way to make side cash out of items I was already going to get rid of. The main drawback is the fees, which keep going up over time and is why I don't use eBay as much as I used to. Still, it's better than Craigslist.
