About bmux
bmux is a desktop web browser for developers, researchers, and people working alongside browser agents. It arranges tabs in split panes and named sessions within one window, while separate profiles isolate logins and browser storage. Keyboard-focused tools include shortcuts, Vim-style navigation, click hints, and floating reference panes. Its command-line interface can control a selected pane to navigate pages, inspect the DOM, click, type, and take screenshots; sessions can continue in the background and be attached for review. Mobile viewport presets and per-profile proxy settings support browser automation workflows. bmux is free and open source under GPLv3. Desktop editions are listed for macOS and Windows, with Linux available as a portable host for remote browser access. It is an early preview and does not require tmux.
