About WinSequence
WinSequence Enterprise software is the core software package in the Sequence family and is used by engineers to assemble rich, visual work instructions quickly and easily. Designed for rapid knowledge capture on the shop floor, WinSequence puts all of the tools to capture details and real-time images in one streamlined interface. The WinSequence Enterprise authoring interface allows users to quickly and efficiently assemble a set of enterprise work instructions. Information is easily reused by dragging and dropping previously written work instruction content for modification or by using standard routings for families of products. When creating instructions, you can take advantage of Sequence-specific features such as Integrated text, picture and spreadsheet editors, “Direct to Sequence” picture addition with a supported digital camera, and “Global” Parts, Assemblies and Tools that can be reused and managed across all processes.

Most clients have Assembly Planner import the eBOM from their PDM/PLM system along with a corresponding Engineering Change Order which contains important details about this change. Assembly Planner then allows the manufacturing engineer to reconcile the eBOM against any existing mBOM (if one exists) to determine what subsequent changes need to be performed against the Process and subsequent shop floor instructions, tooling, and logistics. Often these changes happen under the context of one or multiple corresponding Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO) which define Effective Date, Series, or Serial numbers for which the change is to apply. Once the mBOM and BOP data are complete and reconciled within Assembly Planner this information is Published to ERP, Logistics, and Shop Floor MES/Andon.
