    Pros: Volunteer Local has been a great platform for our organization! We use if for scheduling, creating events, and communicating with our volunteers and clients. It is also a great way to create reports and keep on top of your organizations progress. If that weren’t enough, Volunteer Local tech support is amazing! Our representative has provided one-on-one trainings, shared tutorials, and resources. Whenever we have a question she responds with lightning speed! I highly recommend Volunteer Local!

    Pros: The user interface is simple and straightforward. Our Volunteer program has never run smoother. Also, the support team at VL has been amazing at helping us problem solve to make the software work for our situation.

    Cons: The application function requires you to complete it before you can see the shifts that are available, and that feels somewhat counterintuitive.

    Overall: We've had a really positive experience with VL. Our staff loves it. Our volunteers love it. Keep up the great work!

    Pros: The developers and tech support staff are the reason we're using this platform. They are incredibly responsive when we have any problems or questions. I can tell they are determined to make the platform work for our organization. I can't overstate how pleased we are with their efforts.

    Cons: I have no complaints! My frustration with other database solutions was that I couldn't speak to a person when I had a problem. With VolunteerLocal, they are quick to jump on a zoom call whenever I need help, and they are very generous with developer time when I need a new feature.

    Overall: I have been very pleased with VolunteerLocal overall and highly recommend them to any non-profit who needs a database that is customized to meet their specific needs.

    Pros: Has all the features I would ever want or need, easy to use, easy to train others to use, and lastly timely and friendly support from the staff!

    Cons: I haven't experienced any cons with this system, it is perfect!

    Overall: Honestly my favorite thing about VL is the fast, friendly support they offer for any questions I may have. I like that I know I am emailing a real person who will get back to me quickly and always is an expert. Overall, it is such an easy platform to use which is why I love it--I can add students or other faculty members at my institution as users if they have a big event they need to organize volunteers for and I know they will very easily be able to navigate and use it. It makes my work like so much easier!

    Pros: Platform is easy to use, weekly email tip series helps increase knowledge base, customer service rep is easily accessible for additional training, platform can easily handle our large volunteer base.

    Cons: There are some custom features we would love to have in an ideal world. This platform covers the majority of the basic features we would need.

    "We Love Volunteer Local!"

    Pros: Our organization works with youth volunteers and this is the best software we've been able to find that lets us collect volunteer information, lets them sign up for shifts online and tracks volunteer hours! We use it every single day. Although there have been some issues with the software, the support people have always been super helpful!

    Cons: We've had a few issues with the software regarding multiple kids signing up under the same email. Although this caused some issues on our end, the support team at Volunteer Local was able to quickly fix the problem!

    Overall: Overall we love using Volunteer Local! It has been great for our Nonprofit and we would highly recommend it to others!

    Pros: This system is very easy to use. The VL team is super responsive and there are always improvements being made to the system with customer needs in mind.

    Cons: There are a couple of areas that we are waiting to be more fluid with our donor system but the VL team is currently working on making it happen.

    Pros: We use VL for keeping track of up to 1500 volunteers for our annual rodeo. The format that VL uses is very operator friendly and was tailored to meet our needs.

    Cons: As with every program that is new, we found some fine tuning that was needed to fit out needs. We kept in touch with VL as they built our program to fit our needs. That takes some time and patience but came together as needed in the end.

    Overall: Within our organization we needed a program that was easily accessible to our directors for communicating with and tracking our volunteers and the positions they helped in. With the VL program in place we were able to keep that important information in place. This VL program has streamlined our efficiency and has been very helpful for our office staff.

    Pros: There are so many Pros. Just off the customer service is amazing and super sweet! They will work with you. I love the ease of creating events, copying shifts, and exporting info.

    Cons: There is not much I didn't like. I would like some of the features that are in the more expensive plans to be able to be just an extra in the smaller plans. We nonprofit organizations run on donations so it is hard to pay for a 3000.00 a year plan.

    Overall: I just think that this system is seamless! it works so well for what we need. I would like some of the features like message templating to be in the cheaper version :)

    Pros: I have been very impressed with VL and would recommend it highly. Once you are trained, it is easy to maneuver through the system. What I am most impressed with is VL willingness to accommodate our organization's needs. The changes made for our organization has helped to make it easier to input the data and run reports. Also, my suggestions to improve the system has been taken seriously and will be implemented in the near future. Customer service has been phenomenal. My questions are answered right away and the staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful.

    Cons: How reports are designed needs improvement. VL is working to improve this feature.

    Overall: VL provides excellent customer service which is important when purchasing new software. I have been very impressed with the attentiveness and training VL provides to meet our organization's needs.

    "VolunteerLocal is An Essential Partner!"

    Pros: I love how easy and intuitive VolunteerLocal is on both sides of the platform. It's essentially foolproof for our volunteers to use and they can sign up in no time. On our end it couldn't be easier to make changes, add shifts and communicate with our workforce. We have worked with VolunteerLocal since the inception of our business nearly 20 years ago and I can't imagine producing an event without them!

    Cons: I honestly can't think of a con. The team at VolunteerLocal is so customer service driven that any time I've ever had a question or issue they help me out immediately. They are hands down the most responsive vendor we have ever had!

    Overall: My entire team loves working with VolunteerLocal. We view them as a key part of our event planning process and would never consider producing an event with out them in our planning parameters. We are continually impressed with the way the software has evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of our volunteers and embrace technology as it changes. We view VolunteerLocal as part of our team and are fortunate to have found them so many years ago!

    Pros: The ease of use when we are signing people up to our event. The people signing up are very pleased. Additionally, we love how it is easy to change people's assignments. The Drag and Drop feature is great.

    Cons: The duplicates in attendees was a tad difficult. We had people who sometimes added their address and sometimes they didn't and this caused duplicates.

    Overall: I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! It has helped is so much with our Rug Show. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this product.

    Pros: VolunteerLocal has made my job as coordinator of 1,200 volunteers for a one day large event so much easier. At a push of a button all of the shifts and information seamlessly transfers from one year to the next. If I do need a refresher course or any help the staff of VolunteerLocal is always ready to help. I wish everything in my life was this easy!

    Cons: I can’t think of any cons. I used to have to Manila at rebuild my site every year - over 1,200 shifts with descriptions! VolunteerLocal has freed up my time as a volunteer immensely.

    Overall: A++++ I can not express enough how great VolunteerLocal is. Every staff member is so friendly and eager to answer any question that I may have.
