"Has promise, but pricing sucks - and 0 support"

    Posted 2026-02-02

Pros: The pricing to keep me at a time when I wasn't sure I wanted to use it... Viewed was much more reasonable than the first app I tried (Playable).

Cons: Shortly after I found them, Viewed introduced new pricing plans with more limitations, basically meaning that if you want to play video with sound and/or longer than 6 seconds, you have to pay >$370/month!
They offered me a basic plan to keep me on the platform, but instead of being able to pay for extra views, they just cut off the video and only showed a static image. That's not what any of the information about the plan claimed it would do. I would pay for extra views, but I don't have that option - I can only "upgrade" to a plan that won't actually allow my 12 second video with sound to play at $90/month or I can "upgrade" to the plan that will play my video - which is almost $400/month.

Overall: Easy to use with really lousy pricing plan tiers (as lousy as Playable's). No support, really, as I've tried multiple times to ask what I can do about hitting the limit on my plays, and have received no response. So, I'll be moving on.
