Imagine Español is a culturally authentic, standards-aligned Spanish language arts program designed to accelerate language and literacy development for students in grades K–5. It offers personalized instruction across the four language domains, listening, speaking, reading, and writing, through direct, explicit, and systematic teaching methods. The curriculum incorporates engaging, culturally diverse content, including Latin American and Spanish folk tales, folk art, music, and stories that reflect the values of family and community cherished throughout Spanish-speaking countries. With narrators from 20 Spanish-speaking countries, the program helps build cultural competency alongside foundational literacy skills. Imagine Español addresses specific features of the Spanish language, such as vowels, syllable awareness, transparent orthography, and phonological awareness, to support students in developing phonological awareness and grammar skills.
