About TitleProtect
TitleProtect is a land-title monitoring and notification service for Alberta properties. It checks monitored titles daily for new registrations, including mortgages, liens, caveats, transfers, builders’ liens, and other activity that may affect ownership or a secured interest. Users can manage multiple titles in one account, review registrations, and track changes over time. When a new registration is identified, TitleProtect sends an email or text alert so owners and other interested parties can investigate and decide whether action is needed. It is designed for property owners, lenders, title insurers, lawyers, developers, builders, and businesses with real estate assets. Law firms can offer monitoring to clients after a transaction closes. TitleProtect provides monitoring and reporting; it does not prevent fraudulent activity or replace title insurance. Monitoring is limited to Alberta land titles.
