About Tipword
Tipword lets you point at any word on your Mac and read its meaning in your own language. Hold Option, Command, Control, or Shift over a word in any Mac app, and the translation appears right beside it. It works across films and shows, PDFs, photos, screenshots, websites, chats, email, and virtually any app on your screen. Users can translate subtitles on Netflix, YouTube, and other video players; read unfamiliar words in contracts, forms, and papers; understand menus, signs, and presentation slides; and translate words in news articles, documentation, recipes, messages, and emails. If you can point at it, Tipword can read it, including words inside pictures and PDFs. The workflow is simple, hold a key, point at a word, and read the meaning without switching apps, copying text, or interrupting what you are doing. It supports 54 languages, with 20 translated directly on the Mac through Apple and 34 additional languages available through a personal Google key.
