The author and creator of TimeClock Pearl is hosting this site as a courtesy to the thousands of small businesses that purchased TimeClock Pearl since its commercial release in 2005. The first commercial version was released by Affordable Business Software in mid-2005. Businesses could purchase and download either the Kiosk Edition (installed on a single workstation at which all employees clocked in/out using a provided copy of FileMaker Runtime) and the Network Edition (hosted on one computer and accessed by employees from multiple workstations via FileMaker Pro connection.) Affinity Software LLC and its TimeClock Pearl software were sold to a newly formed company named, Affinity Systems, Inc. The author and creator of the software was retained by Affinity Systems, Inc. to continue providing support for TimeClock Pearl clients and create new timekeeping and payroll interface software for the customers of their parent company.
