About ThisIsMe
Large organisations like banks, insurers, realtors and a host of others are forced to capture your information as part of their regulatory requirements. The problem with this is that all too often, your information is sold to unscrupulous entities or worse, leaked to the world as a result of poor security. Our goal is to place control of your personal information back in your hands. We provide all ThisIsMe users a free, secure profile in which to store their personal data. You choose what is stored in your personal profile and update it at your leisure. We have integrated many reputable data sources to validate your information to ensure that your profile is accurately maintained. In addition, we partner with forward-thinking merchants - through our business portal - that share our philosophy on user data protection and allow them to request only what they need from you in a POPI-compliant manner.
