About TIO
TIO's agents read the inbox your team already works from and do the back-office job function: an ISF agent drafts the 10+2 filing, an order entry agent creates the lot or shipping entry in your TMS with charge lines, an audit agent re-checks what was filed, a quote agent prices inbound freight. Each agent reads the shipment documents, does the prep, and hands a finished draft to your team. Nothing is filed or written to your TMS without a named team member approving it first.
TIO covers the ocean import, ocean export, air import, air export, and domestic lifecycle: booking intake, pre-alert extraction, ISF staging, arrival notice drafting, charge reconciliation, and lot close. It works with the TMS you already run and does not require a migration.
At a US import freight forwarder running the agents in production: lot creation went from about 30 minutes to seconds across 25+ jobs a week, and ISF filing went from about 15 minutes to seconds across 20 filings a week. About two days

"Cuts the email-to-TMS grind on every ocean import shipment" Posted 2026-05-25
Pros: We run ocean import out of New York and the volume of inbound emails -- bookings, pre-alerts, arrival notices -- was eating the team's time. TIO reads the emails, pulls the fields, and pre-fills the record for us to review before anything goes into the TMS. The inbox-to-TMS piece alone saves us real time on every shipment. Setup was straightforward and the team picked it up quickly.
Cons: None, great team. Super responsive. Still a new product but daily ease of use has been phenomenal.
Overall: For a busy freight forwarding operation that runs on email and a TMS, TIO fills a gap I didn't know had a product-based solution. The coordination layer between what lands in the inbox and what needs to get into the TMS is exactly what it handles. Would recommend to any ops team dealing with the same volume grind.
