Pros: We have been using Gridway/Storagepipe-Ottawa for our IT Solutions for many years. We receive excellent customer service, sales and technical support from them always. We have done many projects over the last few years and always with great success.

Cons: No cons that I can think of, if an issue comes up the team is always there to provide support and solutions for us.

Overall: We are very happy with Storagepipe/Gridway Ottawa and would not hesitate to recommend their IT services!!

Pros: We appreciate Storagepipe (formerly Gridway) as our go-to source for IT support and help desk for our national, non-profit association.

They spend the time that is needed to solve our technical issues, and they will also make housecalls to our office as needed.

Cons: There really isn't anything that comes to mind at this time.

Pros: I've been dealing with GridWay (acquired by Storagepipe) for a number of years and they are a one-stop shop for all your business IT needs. Their personnel bring up-to-date technical skills to every project and IT issue and their sales team works with you to provide what you need without any over-selling. The helpdesk is a critical part of our daily IT infrastructure and continues to be a valuable resource to all our network users.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind. There will always be IT issues of varying degrees and GridWay has always been there to find a solution that suits our business needs.

Overall: I would highly recommend GridWay/Storagepipe as their people offer both the technical and customer service expertise needed to maintain a robust IT network.

Pros: Storagepipe expertly handled all of the necessary requirements with ease and professionalism and have proactively anticipated future needs while readily responding to any questions or additional requests.

Cons: None.

Overall: Highly recommended! All accounts that I've introduced to Storagepipe are very satisfied - more to come.

Pros: We use many solutions from backup, cloud and office365 backups. Extremely easy of use and recovery. We also use the DR Replication service which works great.

Cons: We really don't have any cons to this the customer service is excellent and the account team will work with you to iron out any issues that may arise.

Technical support is knowledgeable and under stand your backup needs.

Overall: The over all experience of overall ten year relationship is great. They have been great at meeting all our backup and recovery needs. and we would recommend them to partners and other people with off site backup and retention needed.

Pros: The Storagepipe Sales and Presales (Steven Rodin (Sales)) (Edeleine Mauricio (Presales)) is very responsive to our requirements and aggressive turn around times. Their ability to be agile and focused really speaks volumes to myself and Kydryl.

Cons: None to speak of to date asides not being able to duplicate Edeleine who does a lot of leg work from a presales perspective for me personally and the team overall.

Actually additional capabilities to the ransomware element of the Veeam product would be a great addition to the services.

Overall: I am very impressed with the professionalism of the Storagepipe presales and support team. The Veeam product has been solid and have not had any real complaints on the product to date from my existing clients.

Pros: Overall support and response from Storagepipe team for contract amendments and feedback was very good.

Cons: I did not have a negative experience using the service.

Overall: Contract amendments to assist with implementing a change to our customer was very quick and easy to review.

Pros: Account manager Laurie is always available to listen to issues and work on resolving them as soon as possible. Always offering the best solution, and letting us know of what options they have that could help us with security or day to day support. Very knowledgeable support team who always promptly answer issues.
Pro for us is that they're local so they can send someone on site if needed.

Cons: I have been deal with Storagepipe/Gridway for just under a year, I have not had any issues so far.

Overall: Great experience, knowledgeable staff all around. Friendly and always available to help. The fact that they have local staff and support staff is a plus for us. Hope this experience continues to work this well.

Pros: Excellent solution leveraging VEEAM for cloud backup of the O365 environment as well as on-premise.

Cons: There really wasn't any con's with the service. Easy setup and ongoing administration.

Overall: Support to set up the solution as well ongoing support was excellent. Tim from sales identified our needs and crafted a solution with the technical team.

Pros: Storagepipe have been a very knowledgeable and reliable solution provider to me and my organisation for close to 10 years now. Their expertise in Windows, VMware, O365 and backup solution make them a very valuable asset to me and my Team. Fast and efficient I can always count on the tireless support.

Cons: I just hope they do not get purchased by a Rogers/Bell.

Overall: Truly enjoy my partnership with Storagepipe, having them in my corner provides me that extra confidence.

Pros: Backup and disaster recovery.
- A basic IT requirement but one that is one of the most important, most of the time there aren't any issues but when issues do arise, it typically gets taken care of in a timely manner.

Server monitoring and maintenance
- Proactively monitors and alerts to key server metrices, in our case it's mostly just running out of storage before it becomes an issue
- It's also really nice to have access to their 24/7 technical team so that updates can be scheduled off hours accordingly to business requirements

Managed antivirus
- It's nice not to have to worry about antivirus as the agent they install will monitor for all that

Hosted service
- Datacenter is in hosted locally in Ottawa (which was very important to us)
- Being able to configure resources as required is very beneficial
- Additionally, their hosted VM service comes with support and that's quite useful for when you do run into issues

Technology support
- Support staff is based locally in Ottawa (this is also very important for us)
- 24/7 support is available and the response time is generally reasonable
- So far everyone seems to know what they're doing and you don't get bounced around T1 with cookie cutter question lists

IT equipment purchases
- Reasonable turnaround time
- Will recommend better value options
- Will remind you when server warranty/software maintenance are coming up
- So far, no issues here

IT projects/upgrades
- It's better if your servers are managed by Storagepipe, for us, it's been pretty easy for us to have systems and servers upgraded
- In our transition to Storagepipe, the process was surprising painless as well...

Cons: If I could come up with any con, I would probably say that due to the nature of the business, they will not know your operations as well as your staff do so there is an extent to where they can help. Don't get me wrong, they're quite knowledgeable but since they don't live in your daily operations, they'll likely never be as up to date as having dedicated staff will be.

Overall: Overall, I would say that Storagepipe is an excellent managed IT services provider and you should seriously consider them especially if you have business requirements to remain relatively local.

Additionally, you'll derive more benefits from the relationship if you maintain an internal IT team and add Storagepipe as an extension to your available resources (I might be a little biased here...).

All that to say is, for us, they're a pretty valued technology partner but it's best for you to evaluate that for yourself.

Pros: The Veeam Backup & Replication product that we utilize through Storagepipe an excellent local and cloud online backup solution.

Cons: I do not have anything bad to say about our dealings with Storagepipe over the years.

Overall: I have been with Storagepipe for well over 15 years and have been totally satisfied with their service and support over the years. Whether it is dealing with my dedicated Sales/Customer Support professional or my technical group reaching out for support, we always have a great experience. I would also like to note that the Sales/Customer contact motioned above has been on my account since day one and I can't say that about any other vendor that I deal with.

Pros: I have been a Storagepipe customer for almost 20 years and it has been nothing but a positive experience. When I was looking to augment my Tape backup with an online solution Storagepipe stood out with their professional approach and knowledge, and that has not changed. From my then Novell environment, through Windows, Linux and now VMware and O365 they handled it all. After a Weekend ransomware incident few years back, they gave me all the assistance and resources I needed to be up and running Monday morning. Their technical support is knowledgeable and proactive, occasionally notifying me of an issue before I see it. I'm happy to know they're in my corner.

Cons: I don't have a negative thing to say after being a customer for nearly 20 years.

Overall: I have no hesitation recommending Storagepipe as a backup solution and IT partner to any organization.

Pros: Been using many services offered for over 12 years now.
Helpdesk, Internet connections. firewalls, backups, and server hosting. You name it. We're probably happily using Storagepipe to do it.

Cons: I cant clone them. The world needs more Storagepipe companies and less Rogers/Bell companies.

Overall: The people are great, services are great. Would highly recommend it.

Pros: We have been using Storagepipe for many year with a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Ten years ago our files had been corrupted by ransomware. With Storagepipe we were able to return to 100% operational in a mater of hours. We find Storagepipe a very reliable and affordable off site back up. Technical support is readily available and very helpful.

Cons: We have no issues with Storagepipe after being with them for 18 years.

Pros: It has been an absolute pleasure working with Storagepipe. They have not only met but have easily surpassed all of our IT/backup needs and goals.

Their help desk is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and if the particular technician doesn't know the solution to your problem he will either quickly find it for you or he will escalate the issue to another tech who does. Excellent service overall!

Overall: I would HIGHLY recommend Storagepipe as an IT/backup solution. They are consummate professionals with extremely fair pricing and have been a pleasure to work with.

Pros: I have been using a Veeam backup solution with local and cloud repositories provided by Storagepipe as part of my overall backup and disaster recovery plan. I have been using this strategy for many years, and for multiple organizations. I test every aspect of my plan annually. Storagepipe has been a very valuable partner providing me with the tools, and support I need at great pricing so I can keep my organizations data protected. I have been working with them for many years. Very rarely does anything go wrong, and when it does we make sure data protection is maintained while the issues is quickly resolved.

Cons: If I had to pick an area of improvement for Storagepipe I only have one suggestion. I think for Advanced/experienced admins, a fast track past level one support would be helpful. I have always got the help I needed, but sometimes I have to spend time at level one support before escalating for a resolution. I rarely need support at all, and very little goes wrong, so this is more of a suggestion than a con. Pretty much every company makes you start support at level one!

Overall: Storagepipe is one of my best and most trusted partners. I am an IT Director with 23 years experience running IT departments and I can confidently say that Storagepipe has been one of my best vendors.

Pros: Once this project officially kicked off initially it was all hands on deck from Storagepipe. As a customer, it truly felt like we are number one. The urgency to ensure accuracy with very knowledgeable SME's made for a smooth and seamless transition until completion. This project felt effortless.

Cons: Information overload, which really is not a bad thing however, the folks at Storagepipe are very eager to ensure that all information is accurate which can be overwhelming initially.

Overall: We have had a great overall experience thus far and have built a solid relationship. Our account rep is always available to answer questions and or facilitate new potential opportunities. Their support is reliable and quickly provide solutions / answers to problems and questions.
