About SpotOn Teamwork
Manage labor costs from a single screen "Labor Center", which layers scheduling, time punches, real-time sales from your POS, and projected vs actual labor analytics, all departments/locations in a single screen. Tips are pulled from the POS to be pooled or distributed according to your rules. SpotOn Teamwork (formerly Dolce) handles pooling by any time increment, with point weighting, as well as complex tip waterfalls based on % tip or % of sales tip-outs to support positions. Export gratuity (cc / auto-gratuity / cash) data directly to payroll. Manage all locations in a single account. View individual location performance or rollup of sales and labor data across locations. Manage employees across multiple locations. Payroll data can be distributed to single or multiple EINs. Employees view schedules, time punches, and tips. Trade or swap shifts and submit availability/time-off. Receive alerts. Dialogue with management. Employers enjoy mobile management.

Pros: It syncs Paychex and Toast. Custom pooling. The reports are nice to get - you can monitor things from a high level - such as labor to sales, absences/tardiness, hiring/terminations, etc.. We were assigned an onboarding specialist, which was helpful. They seemed to know it all, and have answers. After set up, they even did a couple troubleshoot calls, which was helpful, so we could get the system working the best way. The system tracks sick time and vacation time. The employees can request their own time off, and they can set the availability, and pick up shifts if they are offered.
Cons: Front end schedule seen by employees isn't as nice as the back end, especially on the app. No syncing an employee's working schedule to Google Calendar, just events. There is no face recognition or thumb print setup when signing in on the iPhone app.
Overall: It is a good system. They met the needs of the company. We are a restaurant, and they align well with that industry.

"Dolce earns "D" as a dud in the industry" Posted 2023-09-11
Pros: There are no pros to share.
Cons: Frequent problems.
Slow, unreliable.
Low quality.
High usage.
Lack of support.
Printer problems.
Credit card reader issues.
Outdated system.Overall: We've used Dolce for over two years and this system is terrible. Where do I begin?! Internet issues, data loss, inaccurate data tracking, hardware failures, inadequate user training, slow integration, slow catch up speed, constantly requires updates.... It's terrible. This POS system is a constant source of frustration for restaurant employees and guests. I'm guessing its price point is it's only saving grace.
