About Solispec
Solispec is a browser-based solar design and proposal tool for installers, PV designers, homeowners, distributors and mounting manufacturers. It combines site planning, structural checks and customer proposals. Users can model ground-mounted arrays and flat or pitched roofs, assess mounting structures for snow and wind loads, configure PV strings across MPPT inputs, and generate drawings, cutting lists and bills of materials. The software estimates PV generation and payback, shows tree and building shade in 3D, and creates branded proposals with multiple options, PDF export and a shareable acceptance link. Users can select manufacturer equipment or add their own products and prices. Homeowners can prepare preliminary plans, while professionals can manage projects and clients; Business adds team roles and engineer-review workflows. Structural outputs should be reviewed by a qualified professional before installation.
