Selects is a desktop AI video editor for creators and production teams working with video podcasts, interviews, multicamera shoots, tutorials, vlogs, and short-form clips. It analyzes footage to identify speech, speakers, scenes, and useful takes, then lets users request edits in chat, including trimming pauses and retakes, switching camera angles, and finding moments by description. Users can refine edits on a multitrack timeline, add captions and motion graphics, and generate video, images, or voiceover. Selects supports exports and publishing to YouTube and TikTok, and can hand off editable projects to Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer. The desktop editor is available for Windows and Mac. Timeline editing and export are included in the free plan; AI analysis and generative features use credits, with additional credits available through paid plans.
