CamCue
CamCue is a desktop AI assistant for job interviews, coding interviews, quizzes, tests, and calls on macOS and Windows. Listen captures system audio—not microphone audio—and transcribes spoken questions through a cloud service before drafting responses. Capture analyzes the screen, while Select analyzes a user-selected area such as a written or coding question. Users can add a CV, job description or job link, documents, and custom instructions, then save context as presets and choose Interview, Coding Interview, Quiz/Test, or Call modes. Answers appear in the app. The software also includes a practice demo, Focus Mode, global shortcuts, and local session history. Stealth asks supported screen-capture apps to exclude the CamCue window, but results vary by application and operating system. Use live assistance only where interview, assessment, or call rules allow.

SubcueAI
SubcueAI is an AI interview assistant for macOS and Windows, with a Chrome/Edge extension and a web dashboard. During a video interview on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WebEx or any other call app, it captures both the interviewer (system audio) and you (microphone), transcribes questions in real time, and surfaces concise, context-aware answer suggestions in a small floating overlay that stays out of screen shares. Answers are personalized to your resume, the job description and any prepared answers you save, with concise, standard or detailed length settings. Beyond live help, SubcueAI includes AI mock interviews (an AI interviewer that asks resume- and JD-based questions, adapts its follow-ups and scores you), a performance report after every session, a free ATS-friendly resume builder, and AI resume optimization for a target job. Available in 27 languages. Audio is captured locally with no meeting bots, and interview transcripts are not stored on our servers.

Interview Coder
Interview Coder is a desktop app designed to help job seekers ace technical interviews by providing real-time assistance with coding problems. It works by using AI to generate solutions based on screenshots of interview questions and coding problems captured by the user. It provides features such as automated solution generation, debugging, and optimization with detailed explanations and complexity analysis. Interview Coder can assist with multiple languages and help users efficiently solve and improve their coding solutions. Interview Coder also includes keyboard commands for easy navigation, including a feature to move the window around without detection and quickly reset or quit the app.

URHIRED AI
URHIRED AI is a desktop overlay for live technical interviews. It is built for rounds other copilots missed: fullscreen assessments, their editor, and four interview types.
It stays up on fullscreen apps such as Rope. Click-through keeps clicks in their IDE. Verbal, coding, system design, and project each have their own model and prompt. Provide project folder based answers. System design renders architecture diagrams. Pin last answer near the camera. The HUD shows network status and transcription delay. Change AI instructions mid-round without overwriting the saved scenario.
Screen-share APIs skip the overlay because it is marked as protected content. Share a window or the whole screen, not a tab. No plugin. No Dock or taskbar icon. You can rename the process; it makes difficult to find the process in Activity Monitor and Task Manager.
macOS 13 (Ventura) or later, Intel and Apple Silicon, and Windows 10 or 11. No API keys in the app. Not built to defeat proctoring.
