    Pros: In the absence of strong data retention policies across the various departments in our organisation, we have used MailMeter File Archiver and more recently Siscin to manage the explosion of data being created and/or uploaded to file shares across multiple file servers by stubbing specific file types to the archive. Otherwise, we would have have encountered major data storage challenges within our on-premise hardware infrastructure.

    Cons: Migration from on-premise solution to the Cloud version was quite time consuming but was worth it in the end as we recovered 4.5TB of disk space for other applications in our on-premise infrastructure.

    Overall: Excellent solution that has been a key data management tool in our organisation for 10+ years at a very competitive cost.
