About Pane
Pane is a desktop workspace for software developers who use terminal-based AI coding agents. It lets users run multiple agents side by side, giving each task an isolated Git worktree and terminal while keeping diffs, logs, an editor, and Git actions in one interface. Pane works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Aider, Goose, OpenCode, and other command-line agents, and includes an orchestrator chat, a command-line interface, and an MCP server that agents can use to create and monitor workspaces. Developers can work across Windows, macOS, and Linux, including Windows Subsystem for Linux, and remotely access a host they control through a browser. The app is open source under AGPL-3.0 and is free; users provide their own AI provider accounts or API keys.
