River is the new standard in personal intelligence, built around the idea that AI should be owned and shaped by each individual. To make that possible, River is rewriting the entire stack from scratch: next-generation interfaces that make interacting with AI as natural as thinking, fundamental advances in training for highly personalized and continually learning models, infrastructure built for continual specialization at scale, and powerful personal hardware to run intelligence locally. River also offers an API to train models that are yours, using LoRA-based fine-tuning and reinforcement learning on open source models from 35B to 1T parameters.
