Rise Vision

Pros: I’ve really enjoyed using Rise Vision! The quality of the ready-made graphics is fantastic. The graphics are vibrant, professional, and save me so much time. I also love that the program gives me the flexibility to create my own graphics whenever I need something specific for my audience. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and customization!

Cons: The only con for me is that I have to manually delete events once they are over. It is an extremely minor inconvenience because I already update events once a week.

Overall: Rise Vision helps us keep our stakeholders informed and engaged by sharing important announcements and upcoming events in a visually appealing way. With eye-catching graphics and customizable designs, we can easily communicate what’s happening around the school so everyone stays in the know.

Pros: As an IT Support Specialist for a private school, Rise Vision has become our core tool for campus wide digital signage. I like its flexibility best. We can use custom-made overlays from Photoshop for our branding and then pull in their helpful widgets for things like weather and social media. The Google Calendar integration is a huge asset for us, as it automatically displays our upcoming sports schedules without manual entry. It's also very easy to implement on various hardware. We run it on Fire TVs, Chromebooks, and Chromebits, which makes deployment simple across different locations on campus

Cons: The main area for improvement is the ease of use within the user interface. The division between Presentations, Schedules, and Displays, while logical, can feel disconnected and adds a few extra steps when trying to manage content. I would also love to see more pro-level web tools for designing content directly on the platform. We currently create our custom overlays in Photoshop, but having more advanced design capabilities within Rise Vision itself would be a major workflow improvement. Lastly, improved performance on non-native devices like our Chromebits and Fire TVs would be a welcome update to ensure a consistently smooth playback experience

Overall: Rise Vision solves the major challenge of keeping our campus communication centralized, timely, and efficient. It replaces outdated paper flyers with a single, manageable platform that benefits us through automation, like automatically displaying sports schedules from Google Calendar to save time and reduce errors. Furthermore, it empowers individual departments like Admissions to manage their own content, which frees the IT team from being a constant bottleneck for daily updates and allows our staff to take ownership of their messaging

Pros: User friendly, great quality. I enjoy using it to share fun memories for our school so our students and staff can see!

Cons: no cons! I guess if there was one, I wish I knew how to see what is on quicker.

Overall: I recommend Rise Vision over every company! So user friendly for non-tech and tech people. Great quality.

Pros: Rise Vision is so easy to use and implement. There are many ways and formats to allow for information to be displayed. My favorite is to use existing Google Slides. Their support of the RiseVision staff is great. They are prompt and do a thorough job of ensuring the issue is solved.

Cons: Needs a mobile app for access while away from the workstation. This could be helpful as I do work outside of the office on a mobile device.

Overall: Rise Vision is solving communication barriers and allowing information to be accessed by all.

Overall: As an employee at an elementary school, I was tasked with finding a simple and reliable way to share announcements and photos on our hallway smart TVs. We have five screens throughout the building, and Rise Vision has been the perfect solution.

We primarily use the platform to display a common photo deck via Google Slides, and the process is seamless. It's incredibly easy to update our content from a central location, ensuring that all five screens are always showing the most current information for our students, staff, and visitors.

Even with limited knowledge of its other features, the core functionality of Rise Vision has exceeded our expectations. It's a powerful tool that has made our digital signage needs simple and effective. I would highly recommend it to any school or organization looking for an easy-to-use and reliable digital display solution.

Pros: Ease of Management for displays around your campus or facility. Great that it works with products such as Chromeboxes and other equipment to allow easy installation for the products.

Cons: We haven't really had any issues with Rise Vision, Everything has been pretty straightforward to manage for us.

Overall: Overall, we are very pleased with the ease of news around our campus, which allows us to give a bigger student body at the events we may host on campus.

Overall: We have been using Rise Vision now for two years, and have loved the switch to it for our digital signage at our high school. They make it super simple to use, and their Rise Vision Media Player makes it more seamless.

Pros: Pretty easy to setup and administer. The ability to create complex presentations is very helpful. Playlists are one of the more useful features of the solution.

Cons: There are some shortcomings when it comes to creating custom layouts that require some creative problem solving.

Overall: We have been very happy with Rise Vision, and their customer/technical support. I would like to see more emphasis on creating a more powerful creator environment, but this is not a show stopper.

Pros: Rise Vision allows the resort to quickly share information with guests about current specials in our bars and restaurants as well as happenings on and off property.

Cons: The media player is built on an old android platform that needs updating desperately. It is best to use repurposed Windows workstations in my opinion.

Overall: Overall, it is a great value and accomplishes everything we need to it do quite well. The resort will continue to utilize it for the foreseeable future.

Pros: User-friendly, fast support, easy scheduling. I also appreciate how easy it was to learn the software.

Cons: Wish there were more templates to choose from. The few available templates are nice, but I would love for more vibrant options to be installed.

Overall: I love the ease of this product and being able to share things with our students and staff. We get compliments on how awesome our TV messages are with this software.

Pros: Rise Vision can be hosted on multiple platforms - As far as I know it works on both Windows 10/11 and Linux. Linux would provide more options when purchasing the hardware, like Raspberry Pi, which is more stable than the Windows PC sticks.

And I like the new UI on Admin portal as well - really easy to navigate.

Cons: So far so good. I don't have much to think about in this field

Overall: Overall this is a decent solution for business owners who need to host the media broadcast in their office.

Pros: Ease of use, being able to separate buildings and departments while having each account under the same "umbrella" has made things easier when it comes time to renew. Notifications when a system is offline. The templates make it easy to create slides, or pages to display quickly on the fly. Customer support is quick to respond to anything that needs troubleshooting, but I've only needed that once in 2 years, and that was for a hardware issue unrelated, but they still assisted!

Cons: Honestly, I haven't found anything to dislike. If I had a suggestion, I would say to add a Dark mode for the portal. (if that's not already a feature)

Overall: Great experience, have had no issues with the product. Would recommend to anyone looking for digital signage.

Pros: I've been using Rise Vision for years. Very easy tool to use to manage our screen casting needs at our retail locations. Scheduling works well as we are constantly in need of having messaging going up and going down so we are not serving the wrong message at the wrong time. Installation of firesticks in tv's and downloading the app on to them as also proven to be pretty seamless.

Cons: We have had some issues with the slideshows not loading correctly on our screens, or freezing or other issues that might be a combination of errors coming from the tv's themselves to the fire sticks. I know Rise suggests using their hardware for this, but the firesticks are so much cheaper.

Overall: Overall no complaints and have enjoyed using this software. Looking forward to continuing to use this service for our screen casting needs.

Pros: I only have good things to say about Rise vision! Everything just works after you set it up. (No having to babysit equipment) The support team always gets back to me within an hour any time I need help. The pre-made templates save me tons of time with designing!

Cons: It can be a little pricy compared to other solutions, but its well worth it.

Overall: Couldn't be happier! I highly recommend Rise Vision to anyone needing digital signage. I have used the service for almost 2 years and have no plan to stop.

Pros: We like the site licensing, diversity of hardware that is supported, easy to use user interface, great support.

Cons: Apple TV are not fully supported! This could be Apple‘s fault.

Overall: Great service, great support, great tool. I’m glad we made this choice. We now have a hybrid of Apple TVs, zoom rooms, Promethean panels, Sony TVs, and rise vision hardware running these signage screens.

Pros: Rise Vision is so easy to use and it allows us to communicate directly with staff and students. People don't always read emails, but they always look at the digital screens we have on campus.

Cons: I haven't come across any issues that were not easily solved.

Overall: Overall, i wish all our software performed as well as Rise Vision. It's easy to setup, easy to use and easy to manage.

Pros: Ease of use, number of templates available, ability to input company colors and logos, scheduling the pages is very easy, can run 24/7.

Cons: There isn't much to not like about this product, if I had to say something its would be that most of the current templates are school related. However they do make suggesting new templates very easy.
