Rise Vision

Pros: Content is dynamic, matches brand, and easy enough that my admin assistants can use it. RiseVision continually sends out updates with new content for holidays and countdowns, so we don't need to worry about a marketing department. (Which is great since we don't have one). The platform agnostic player is great, which means we were able to reuse a lot of existing hardware.

Cons: There are some complex things that this software can't do. We use Hudl for sporting events, which doesn't integrate as well. Trying to set up a multiple display grid (for example, if we want to see all 5 of our main playlists on one display at the same time), hits the processing power max.

Overall: I'd recommend this software to anyone looking for easy, reasonably priced digital signage solutions. After looking for three years at different vendors and solutions, this is the one that we went with because it checked so many boxes for us.

Pros: Rise Vision is easy to use, offers time-saving education-focused templates, allows for reliable cloud-based remote management, scales well across multiple locations, supports consistent branding and messaging, enables quick updates for announcements and alerts, and reduces the need for paper signage.

Cons: managing a large number of screens can become time-consuming if content needs to be adjusted frequently across multiple groups.

Overall: Some limitations include occasional restrictions in template customization, the need for more streamlined bulk editing and advanced scheduling features, and the potential for costs to increase as additional screens or premium features are added.

Pros: The platform is intuitive and easy to use, which makes updating content simple and efficient. In a busy school setting, being able to quickly adjust event details or menu items is a huge benefit. The premade templates are especially helpful. They save time and give our displays a professional look without requiring design experience.

We also appreciate the flexibility of the system. It allows us to rotate announcements, schedules, and photo slideshows seamlessly. This helps promote school spirit and keep students and families informed.

Cons: One feature that we would love to see improved is the ability to screenshare from one computer to multiple displays. That capability would be extremely helpful during events.

We had to switch to the unlimited plan to make the multiple displays work, which is a little high in terms of price.

Overall: Overall, Rise Vision has been a reliable and effective digital signage solution for our school, and it continues to meet our communications needs.

Pros: The clear UI makes it super easy to use.
We use a combination of Google Slides, videos and photos and it supports all 3 and more.
It tells us when a display stops working (sometimes we have power outages) so we can go and turn it back on.

Cons: Nothing, it works great all the time and never gives us any problems.

Overall: Rise Vision made it so much easier to manage the different digital signage across our school branches, something that used to be so annoying before as we had Chromebits and have to go and do it all manually on each screen.

Pros: The enhanced communication features. Allowing me to share content effectively and helping me save time is a welcomed situation.

Cons: pricing could be a bit better. Just because of the current economy, but It's understandable.

Overall: Overall, no complaints. With everything I have to do as an IT professional this technology definitely helps ease the workload.

Overall: Rise Vision has exceeded our digital display needs at our student service center. As a director at a public university, I value solutions that are both effective and easy to implement—and Rise Vision has delivered on both fronts. Both the sales team and the customer service consultants have been consistently responsive and readily available whenever we’ve needed guidance or support. We also appreciate the wide range of templated display options. With so many ready-made designs to choose from, creating polished and engaging displays has been an easy lift for our staff. Overall, Rise Vision has been an outstanding partner, and I highly recommend their platform to any institution looking to enhance its digital signage.

Pros: We were finally able to share real time information on our company displays utilizing PowerBI to connect to our Production ERP database.
Super friendly interface, easy to implement.

Cons: Media player equipment didnt come with mounting instructions.

Overall: It completely transformed the way we share our company production data and communications from other departments across all our company areas. We can now have visibility on critical data like goals, down times and urgent notices.

Pros: User-friendly, easy to navigate. When I first started to learn how to use it, I got the hang of it right away

Cons: Might have to be repetitive in step if I have to post stuff more than one time.

Overall: I like it, it's very useful too and very easy for me to use. Especially at work, it makes my job way easier.

Pros: I liked that I could create a google slide and import it easily. I was able to use our school images and pictures of the students.

Cons: It was a little confusing at first to figure out how the schedules worked.

Overall: It worked great with very little time needed. I think parents liked seeing our displays and looked for updates and events on campus.

Pros: I like Rise Vision for its ease of use and configurability. It's also great for sending emergency notifications, which helps ensure everyone is aware during incidents. The initial setup was very easy too.

Cons: I cannot think of any negatives for Rise Vision or its products.

Overall: I use Rise Vision for classroom displays, which not only assists with instruction but also allows emergency notification messaging to be sent and received by every class. I appreciate the ease of use and configurability of Rise Vision, along with the ability to send emergency notifications to the screen to provide important details of incidents. I integrate it with Raptor alert from Raptor Technologies.

Pros: Simple management. Easy deployment. Multiple templates. Numerous features. Our end users find it very easy to maintain, as it integrates perfectly with Google Slides.

Cons: After using Rise Vision for over 4 years, I have not found anything I do not like about it.

Overall: Excellent. The product does everything and more. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to display company information.

Pros: It’s really nice that you can update everything remotely online. I also like that we’re able to use it across our district, even when working with different companies. The templates are also useful and convenience for a starting place.

Cons: At first, I found it a bit confusing to understand how to create schedules and presentations, and how they connect to each other. Once I learned the interface and how everything links together, I realized there’s a lot of functionality for scheduling, as well as for mixing and matching different elements. I had some issues when setting up a few of the products where it would take a long time for the registration code to connect to the display.

Overall: Overall this is a good product that makes it easy to create and maintain digital signage across the district. It has a bit of a learning curve when getting set up.

Pros: Rise Vision is easy to use. The premade templates are great for saving time when you need one done quick.

Cons: I don't like the lgbt template. That's not something I would ever use in a school or anywhere.

Pros: Ease of use and variety of templates offered. Email alerts are sent out for new features and you are able to sign up how to use the new updates.

Cons: We have to use Amazon Fire Sticks for our TV's and it sometimes has glitches. They are usually resolved quickly by our IT Dept. We've had issues trying to attach PDF's so don't use that feature

Overall: Fairly to use and questions answered quickly when needed. Would recommend this product to other schools.

Pros: The platform is easy to set up and use. Tech support is always helpful if I have questions. Overall, a fantastic product.

Cons: The only negative thing I can think of is that it takes several mintues to log in because of the two-step verifcation process. But, hey, that's a minor thing.
