About Redstone
Redstone is a web-based portfolio analytics and investment research product for self-directed investors, analysts and people learning portfolio theory. It provides return and risk measures for about 2,900 U.S. stocks and 1,200 ETFs, including Sharpe ratio, maximum drawdown, volatility and correlations. Users can screen securities, compare tickers, build and share portfolios, review allocations, and backtest portfolios against historical data and benchmarks. Public ticker data and comparisons are available without an account. Free and paid plans add portfolio capacity, optimization tools, private portfolios and watchlists. A free, read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server lets compatible AI assistants retrieve metrics, screen or compare securities, look up portfolios and run backtests. Data refreshes daily after the U.S. market close. Redstone is for informational and educational use, not investment advice.
