    "An average file sharing service"

    Posted 2020-11-23

Pros: RapidGator's been around a while now, so you can count on it to still be around for sometime. It's easy to set up an account and start sharing files. Downloading files can be down whether you have an account or not, so the person you're sharing your download link with doesn't need to set up an account.

Cons: The download page itself looks a lot like spam, which is a problem with a lot of older file sharing sites. It's more confusing if you don't have an account. I've also had issues with both uploading and downloading files from time to time, but not often enough to make me avoid it entirely.

Overall: It's not the most reliable service out there, though it usually works. If you need high reliability and are looking for a modern, well designed interface, this isn't the service for you. But if you're just looking to share some files real quick with a handful of people, it's not half bad and it'll get the job done just fine the majority of the time.
