4. You will gain insight into the amount of “clutter” and the massive amounts of telemetry collected.
5. You may choose to no longer be the product.
6. Frequent updates and enhanced functionality.
7. The application is simple to configure and tailor to one’s own use case.

Cons: 1, The requirement of this form to include Cons when I haven’t found any in the application, in my sometimes not so humble opinion. Requirement satisfied.

Overall: PrivaZer is Fantastic. Phenomenal in my opinion. The application and the Support Team!
Ccleaner? You must be joking right? It’s not even in the same league as PrivaZer.

So quit playing around in the minor leagues and move on up to the major league level.

I consider PrivaZer to be an invaluable tool in the toolbox. A must have in today’s day and age of consensual? data collection and monetization.

Because I don’t consent, I believe implementing the proper countermeasure is not only appropriate but also required and essential.

Been using the application for years now after spending years seeking a proper solution. It’s very intuitive and works great in it’s “default” configuration.

I would suggest downloading the application for evaluation today. You’ll see just how useful it is and how simple it is to configure the settings and features. During the installation, you’ll be guided through the setup process by the configuration wizard and you’ll be good to go.

However, for those who like to tinker, PrivaZer is loaded with granular settings and many useful features (with more to come) for tailoring the application to your use case. Far too many to incorporate into this review. It’s very easy to learn how.

You will truly be amazed by the volume of “stuff” the application uncovers upon completion of it’s impressively rapid scan routines. Also, and this is key, the application will take absolutely no corresponding action(s) without your prior consent!

Also, the Support Team is truly Outstanding! Superior to the “big boys” by far!

I recently experienced difficulties with a completely different application on my systems and the vendor characterized PrivaZer as a potential conflicting application.

The Support Team was instrumental in helping me to quickly dispel the notion.

The Team is always extremely responsive and fully engaged with their customer base. Both when dealing with potentially serious issues or when responding to the casual question.

Very thorough, fully transparent and informative answers to all issues or questions. All while conducting the active and ongoing development of the application; crucial to incorporating additional useful features.

On another occasion, the Team worked with me when I encountered a graphics issue attributed to the usage of multiple monitors.

We collaborated to resolve the issue and an updated general release version was created in no time.

I’ve worked in the IT industry for a long time and it’s very, very rare to have a Support Team as readily available and fully engaged as the PrivaZer Support Team. Especially when you are not paying any additional support fees. Even then...

While it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever need the Support Team to intervene, it’s comforting to know you will receive top-notch service in the event you do have the need.

I highly recommend purchasing the Pro version as it includes additional and very useful features. You can even pay what you want when you want! Unheard of…
The Pro version is active on all of my systems. Once you have used the application you will not want to be without it ever again.

Pros: Before I found this review page, here's what I said in an email to PrivaZer:
"Hey Maestro, I want to congratulate you on a product that actually does what it promises. I have been struggling for months to clear up all the detritus on my main drive, with precious little success: some claimants have actually left me with more MFT entries than when I started cleaning. Not so PrivaZer - it actually does what it says it will do - remove files, and remove their entries in the MFT. Well done! I can now get rid of those other apps I'd tried and found less than successful."

Cons: I'm probably not getting the best out of PrivaZer because it uses unfamiliar terminology

Overall: I have struggled for months, trying to clean up old entries in the MFT of my primary disk drive. I tried Privazer as just one more candidate app promising to help, and WOW! It actually delivered. I almost fell off my swivel chair, I was so surprised. Now I use it not just daily but on a continual basis - my "delete" key is gathering dust, and if something needs to go then I just invoke Privazer.

Pros: Privazer is simply the best PC cleaning software I have ever used.

The Privazer support is prompt, helpful and professional. I personally prefer the portable version of Privazer and I now have no need for any other secure PC cleaning software. I cannot believe Privazer is free.

Cons: There are no negatives with Privazer. No Issues or problems.

Overall: Excellent. I would always recommend to any windows user. Privazer remains my only choice for security.

Pros: PrivaZer does what CCleaner does without the foulups that Piriform seem to make periodically. V7 to boot. Put simply PrivaZer is reliable. CCleaner has more of a commercial imperative hence the need to change things resulting in unhappy users like I was.
Service is truly exemplary. Emails answered within the hour often much quicker. When there is a proble the developer gets involved if necessar using AnyDesk remote Chat to access your PC to assist you to resolve your problems.

A recent update has made PrivaZer extremely fast when cleaning. and there is a good scheduling feature included in the free version.

Cons: I don't think the Cookie handling in PrivaZer is as slick as Ccleaner. Importing and retention of cookies is not as easy. Nonetheless it is certainly doable and one that could be easily improved by the developer. It was one of the main reasons I selected PrivaZer to replace Ccleaner.

Overall: A first class product, far superior to Ccleaner in almost all aspects.

4. Does what it says.
5, No flags to encourage or promote other products except for Pro Version.
6.Better than others that I have previously tried and tested where some even trashed my PC where I had to perform recovery.

Cons: Nothing. Surprised that the team even went so far as to release a FREE version!

Overall: Early days but in my opinion this is one of the best and I moved to the Pro Version.
I have worked in industry from the 70's in the days of DOS, W3.11 and worked BBS as the internet was being born. I am now over 60yo and continue to do so.

Pros: It's a very good Program to Analyse My Windows 11 Pro and to Perform the tasks needed for a Smother and Efficient PC.

Cons: It just depends on what needs to be achieved, if all SSD are Scanned, it just takes a little longer.
However, it doesn't stop me from doing other tasks being slowed down.

Overall: My experience with this Program after Configuration since Installed has been most comfortable. I'm sure this will continue?

Pros: PrivaZer Pro is super effective and throughly cleans and wipes my operating system.

I used to use CCleaner by Piriform. But it was made a long time ago using old technology.

To use Windows 10 and 11, you need a modern cleaner created using cutting-edge technology.

Cons: It is perfect the way it is. I can’t think of anything l am not pleased about.

Overall: I have been using it for the past two and a half years. Great cleaner and it is not subscription based.

A one- time donation will do. That’s super affordable.

Pros: Detailed customization of what you wish to deep clean.
Great granular choices for what can be set and automated.
Cleans deep into the system traces that are collected and left behind as you use your computer.
Ability to either deep clean the entire system or just your internet activities.
Once set up as you'd like, only a few clicks and your done.
After being thoughtfully set up initially, it is highly reliable.
Can be toggled between "Basic User" and "Advanced User".
Customer support is very responsive.

Cons: The UI has takes some getting used to - especially if one wants to use the "Advance User" interface and/or use more granular settings.
Might require more understanding of the intricacies of the Windows system than many users may have.
The registry cleaning feature may not be for everyone. (It's the one feature I choose not to use.)

Overall: As an advanced user, I find it quite powerful. I run it every day as part of my startup procedure and again at shutdown - and sometimes after a long session of internet use. I've used it for several years and trust it to safely execute the way I've configured its settings. It hasn't failed me or caused problems. Highly recommended.

Pros: After being installed, PrivaZer asks me a series of questions, based on whether I select "basic" or "advanced". Then it sets up all the cleaning options for me automatically! (The options can always be manually changed later - each option is clearly explained.) Then, PrivaZer cleans my entire computer (RAM, swap-file, registry, pre-fetch, internet history, software use, etc.) of all potentially sensitive data and graphics. And it does so RAPIDLY - as thoroughly as you choose, e.g., with options not to save registry backups or restore points - myself, I choose not to save these after discovering the dependability of PrivaZer. Amazingly, it has never impaired any function of my existing configurations in any way.

Cons: USB cleaning function not fully operational yet. A simple freeware utility can take care of this little issue in just seconds.

Overall: I have used just about every major computer cleaning utility there is, but I encountered insufficient cleaning, extremely slow performance, and/or unclear and sometimes "dangerous" options that altered GUI functions and even broke certain functions of my software, forcing me to re-install, or even do complete restorations from backup. However, I started using PrivaZer about five years ago (version 4.0.21.0) - and what a surprise and relief it was! With one click, PrivaZer RAPIDLY cleaned my computer of ALL potentially sensitive data, and within minutes, it had automatically restarted my computer, which was now completely cleaned of unwanted data! And the computer was functioning normally in every way! I've used PrivaZer daily ever since! Every update makes it better. Truly amazing utility!

Pros: PrivaZer works perfectly, but the standout is their customer service. The support team is fast, friendly, and extremely helpful. It’s rare to see such genuine care for users. Highly recommended.

Cons: The only downside is that it can take a little time to learn due to the many options available, but this also shows how powerful and thorough the software is.

Overall: Overall, PrivaZer is an excellent privacy tool with powerful features and outstanding customer service. While it may take a little time to get used to, the level of support and attention to users more than makes up for it. Highly recommended.

Pros: Ease to use. Run it at the end of every day before shutting down my system. Once you have set it up, running it is a breeze.

Cons: Hard to understand the technology if you don't have a lot of computer experience.

Overall: I have been a computer technician for about 40 years. I think first system had 2MB of memory and a a 220MB hard drive. Everybody told me I would never need the my memory or hard drive space.

Pros: PrivaZer is an excellent piece of software - configurable and versatile. The customer service is great as well, quick friendly and professional. Really impressed!

Cons: Nothing springs to mind. PrivaZer does what it says, and is very straightforward to use.

Overall: Top notch! I was particularly impressed with the quick response and helpfulness of the customer support team.

Pros: My favorite feature of PrivaZer is the ability to sanitize remnants in the Master File Table. When the MFT free space is securely cleaned, nobody can even look at the names of things that used to be on your computer.
Other top points -
* Securely erase individual folders or files from the context menu, using preconfigured settings
* Smart cookie saving detection works very well, or choose them yourself and have all others removed
* Secure erasure options include differentiation between SSD and HDD with appropriate algorithms for each
* If you want Pro, you can choose how much to donate to get it (within a reasonable range that is)
* The developer is not only extremely responsive, but FAST in getting back to you. They will carefully consider feature requests (including adding your favorite program to PrivaZer's cleaning list).

Cons: * Some users may feel that the GUI is somewhat sparse. Personally, I like it the way it is--functionality and precise control, smooth and simple operation.
* Autonomously installed updates and running on a schedule are only available with the pro version, but the developer absolutely deserves the donation for their hard work.
* While there is a wide and ever-expanding number of supported programs and areas of cleaning, PrivaZer doesn't have everything ever written for a computer. That said, you can contact the developer and he will do his best to add your program. I know this because I recently did this, requesting the addition of Ditto to the working set.

Overall: For the sanitization of tracks, traces, remnants, Metadata, and/or behavioral histories of all kinds from a storage drive, there is no software or vendor I trust more than PrivaZer by Goversoft. Imagine all of your favorite storage drive cleanup tools rolled into one - Ccleaner, Wise, Glary Utilities, you name it - and then outfitted with a pneumatic steamroller driven by a team of forensic analysts drinking Monster Energy infused with Red Bull; this is what you can expect from PrivaZer. It scans for and gets rid of everything from everyday thumbnail caches to that one overlooked browser history item that would make grandma faint dead away. I have been using this program since I learned of its existence in 2013. The free version is functionally indistinguishable from Pro. You get the same power on the free tier. There are no bundled installers or hidden gotchas - Privazer is clean, well-written software from a skillful, trustworthy company. If you only have room for one PC cleaning tool in your life, this should be it.

Pros: Thoroughness in cleaning, user configuration from average to expert, clean only browsers or entire system plus connected drives, allows backup before cleaning and do/don't clean the registry, allows PC shutdown after cleaning (a good thing), a clear indication of what it's doing, donor's version costs as little/much as you choose, frequent free 'upgrades', experts' endorsements, years of using PrivaZer with no errors.

Cons: PrivaZer at the advanced user configuration level expects the user to understand some advanced terminology -- so the user looks them up and becomes more knowledgeable. No biggie.

Overall: Years of using PrivaZer with no errors make me confident in PrivaZer's robustness and safety. (You do make frequent backups, don't you?)
