About PixelSniff
PixelSniff is a browser-based AI image detection tool for checking whether an image may have been generated or edited with AI. Users can drag, paste, or upload images; it accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC files up to 50 MB and supports batch checks. The service analyzes images with multiple detection engines, examining generation artifacts, noise patterns, and metadata, then presents a combined likelihood score and verdict alongside individual engine results, a heatmap, and explanatory findings. It is designed to flag synthetic images from tools such as Midjourney, DALLĀ·E, Stable Diffusion, Flux, and Gemini, as well as deepfakes, face swaps, and AI-edited photos. Results are probabilistic indicators rather than proof. Free checks are available without an account, and reports can be shared through private, unlisted links.
