About Pinly
Pinly is a plugin for Autodesk Revit that brings Figma-style comments directly into the BIM model. Users pin a comment to an exact point on the plan, reply in a thread, mention teammates, react with emoji, and mark issues resolved, all without leaving Revit or exporting to PDF.
Comments stay attached to the model instead of living in screenshots, email threads, or BCF files. A sidebar lists every comment in a project with filters and sorting, and clicking one jumps straight to its pin on the plan. Pins cluster at low zoom so the model stays readable, and a single toggle hides all comments for a clean view. Hubs and projects organize work across a team, and comments sync in real time.
Pinly also runs on an open MCP server, so AI assistants can add comments programmatically (for example, checking every door against a fire rating). AI-placed comments carry a visible icon so they're never mistaken for a human's.
