Picrota is a Chrome and Edge extension for capturing and editing screenshots and images in one workspace. Capture a browser tab or desktop, or open an image, then crop, mask sensitive details with opaque blocks, highlight information, add text, boxes, circles or arrows, rotate or flip, zoom and pan, compare edits with the original, and undo or redo. Save the full image or visible area as a PNG; saved images are flattened and named with the date and time. Editing happens locally in the browser, without uploading images or processing them in the cloud. Picrota supports workflows such as KYC and AML reviews, compliance, fraud investigation, customer support, research, administration and everyday office work.
