"Great data vendor for people data" Posted 2022-11-29
Pros: High data quality;
Each to match - the data can be matched using various fields and the enrichment API can do smart match to increase the matching rate;
Both LinkedIn type of data + private data (e.g. phone, gender, email) available;
Versatile to query.Cons: No big cons in terms of data, but a bit pricy compared to competitors.
Overall: Great experience working with PDL data. Was able to enrich internal data for multiple projects. The PDL team is also very pleasant to work with.

"Loving the quality and ease of extraction" Posted 2022-11-29
Pros: I've been using PDL to create custom Zapier and Integromat enrichment workflows. While the other vendors are alright, People Data Labs' focus on the API part is golden.
Cons: None really. The ability to test APIs in their own platform and not have to jump in Postman is really cool.
Overall: Great vendor for enriching MQL data and creating custom "web hook based" workflows. I wish I knew about PDL sooner.

"Great " Posted 2022-09-30
Pros: Treasure chest of data that I really enjoyed researching. This is a service I will use on an annual basis.
Cons: I like everything but the price. It’s hard for a small company to get started especially if they need a premium datapoint.
Overall: Easy to understand and easy to connect with reps to learn about all of the options a available for purchase.

"It's okay as a secondary source of data" Posted 2022-09-30
Pros: As a recruiting firm, we constantly look for fresh applicants to apply for our jobs, we used PDL as a secondary data source and found a couple candidates for some of our harder positions were exhausted.
Cons: However, we could not use it as a primary sourcing tool as it is not specifically built for recruiting. Yes, it has a candidate portion, but often times these folk are over qualified for the role or are not actively looking for work.
Overall: PDL is just okay to use as a secondary platform to gather data on contacts that you need, but will not fulfill needs for the recruitment space.

"Review of People Data Labs API" Posted 2022-08-12
Pros: What I liked is the proper availability and accessibility of the API documentation with each and everything mentioned clearly eg:, how to get your API key from account settings.
Cons: I didn't like that there are too many versions of the API, I know it is not to be complained about but for me it is a disadvantage since I have to update the API again and again on version depreciation.
Overall: My overall experience is good. The API is very useful and efficient. Also each and everything is properly described in documentation using hyperlinking which is helpful.

"We had a very good experience with PDL" Posted 2022-08-12
Pros: The first thing I liked is the speed, compared to similar products People data labs are very fast in returning results. Also, the format of the data is easily manageable.
Cons: There could be more data and probably a history of data with changed date.
Overall: I would certainly keep using People Data Labs and will recommend it to my business network as well.

"Data is good, but heard to read without a user interface" Posted 2022-08-11
Pros: Data is pretty good and accurate, easy to setup and use if you know a little code and how to use similar software.
Cons: It’s very hard to read without a proper user interface or at least a way of sorting the data into readable code.
Overall: I would say it is a good alternative product to find data, but does not do very well as a primary source. My business is specifically in the recruitment marketing, so it may work for others but not for our needs.

Pros: Lots of functionality for persona and company enrichment, one of the best in terms of expanding CRM capabilities.
API is seamless and extremely easy to use.
Ability to directly test and make calls through People Data Labs.Cons: Limited without enterprise plan.
There are lots of options and sometimes the documentation can get tricky to use.Overall: It’s really good and by far the best enrichment CRM platform on the market, it’s very API focused which is something a lot of the alternatives don’t really focus on.

"Unparalleled people data" Posted 2022-08-11
Pros: One of the easiest ways to leverage people data in building a marketplace or HR/recruiting platform. You can easily query the database to find talent that aren't easily accessible through traditional sourcing methods.
Cons: I like the fact they are starting to integrate with no-code tools as that was one of my initial challenges. If you have development experience that shouldn't be a problem.
Overall: We are finding more ways each day to integrate the PDL data into our systems and workflows. Making it easier to verify, source and screen talent.

"People Data Labs" Posted 2022-08-11
Pros: Gets all the information perfectly and can find items other cant. Similar to things like Clearbit. The integration with make.com is awesome as well.
Cons: The price is the only thing, it is more expensive than Hunter, Lusha and Clearbit connect combined which means we connect the others.
Overall: Amazing product, and if you have the cash, its worth it, but it is very expensive. If there are other price tiers with would be better.

"Generous free tier, and it does what you expect" Posted 2022-07-31
Pros: I built a recruiting pipeline using PDL. I integrated with Zapier and fed in LinkedIn profiles in order to pull email address for candidates so we could get in touch. The tool worked exactly as expected, the free tier for the number of requests you can send in per month is very generous. I eventually did pay for more usage, but was able to get quite a long way without paying.
Cons: Not many negatives. As I said, the tool does what it's supposed to. you won't always get the data you're looking for, but it's hard to fault the tool for that. I suppose a negative would be I never used any of their other products, just the personal data set
Overall: Overall, positive experience. Like I said, tool does what you'd expect. It was super easy to integrate with Zapier, and I never ran into problems with it. I think if you're looking for an API that you can pull personal data from, it's a solid choice.
