About Paramiq
Paramiq is a cloud-based parametric product configurator for manufacturers of configurable physical products. Teams define dimensions and options as parameters, create calculation and pricing formulas, connect materials from their catalog, and generate consistent pricing, specifications, and bills of materials from the same product rules.
The platform includes a visual configuration editor, formula engine, materials and pricing catalog, reusable and nested product configurations, calculation and quotation workflows, custom statuses, and PDF, Excel, and CSV export. Configurators can be used internally by a team, shared through a public link, or embedded on a company website. Optional 3D visualization shows how dimensions, materials, and selected options affect the configured product.
Paramiq also provides role-based team access, webhooks, configurable branding, and business-level options such as white-label publishing and custom domains. Its AI assistant can create editable drafts

Pros: We recently started testing Paramiq and have found it genuinely convenient for our workflow. Our managers can now prepare and send materials to customers much faster, while working from one clear, consistent form. The Paramiq team adapted the output to our specific requirements quickly and professionally. The web version also works very fast on smartphones, which is especially useful when meetings take place on site. Overall, a very positive experience so far.
Cons: Nothing significant identified yet - we are still testing the platform.
Overall: Paramiq helps turn product knowledge into a reusable configuration system. When a parameter or option changes, the price, specification, BOM and 3D view stay connected rather than being updated manually in separate tools. This reduces the risk of a sales quote drifting away from production data. It is especially relevant for small and mid-sized manufacturers with complex, repeatable product families.

Pros: We use Paramiq to configure made-to-order products and generate quotes much faster. The live 3D preview, automatic pricing and bill of materials stay synchronized, which eliminates repetitive manual calculations and helps avoid quoting mistakes
Cons: The formula editor takes some getting used to if your logic lived in spreadsheets before. Preparing the catalog and 3D assets took real effort on our side at the start
Overall: We moved our dealer quoting for made-to-order metal products from spreadsheets into Paramiq. Quotes that used to take most of an hour are now done in minutes, with fewer errors reaching production. The team supported us through setup and responds quickly. After six months it has become the standard way our dealers price orders.
