About PVGround
PVGround is a solar design platform delivered as AutoCAD and ZWCAD plugins for ground-mounted (PVGround) and rooftop (PVRoof) PV projects. PVGround reads terrain from the drawing to lay out panels, calculates how many MWp fit at different row spacings, analyzes shading including fences and trees, plans DC, AC and HV cable routes in 3D, groups pile lengths with tonnage, calculates cut and fill earthworks, and verifies the design with cross-sections. PVRoof models roof geometry, slope and orientation and places panels automatically or manually with shading analysis. Designs export to PVsyst, Excel, PDF and DXF.
