About POinbox
POinbox is a Shopify app for wholesale and B2B merchants that receive customer purchase orders by email or as files. It reads emailed or uploaded PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, CSV files, Word documents, photos and scans, then prepares a Shopify draft order for staff review. The app can match the buyer to a Shopify customer, B2B company and company location, and match order lines to catalog products, including customer-specific item codes. Drafts use Shopify catalog pricing by default and flag differences from the purchase order for review. Lines with uncertain matches remain for staff to resolve before the draft is created, and the purchase order number is written to Shopify’s purchase order field. After approval, Shopify continues to handle payment, invoicing and fulfillment. POinbox converts customer-submitted POs into draft sales orders; it is not a supplier purchase order tool, EDI system or wholesale ordering portal.
