Audience
Startup founders and security leaders at seed to Series B companies. B2B SaaS, fintech, healthtech, and AI-native companies. Engineering teams without a dedicated CISO. Companies pursuing first enterprise deals where SOC 2 or ISO 27001 is required. Teams replacing 5-7 separate security and compliance vendors with one platform.
About Osto
Osto is the complete cybersecurity platform for startups. Most companies in this category solve half the problem. Compliance platforms automate the paperwork. Security vendors run the protection. Founders end up buying both, then a third vendor for VAPT, then struggle with security questionnaires. Osto gives all of it on one platform.
Osto runs your entire security stack: WAF and API protection, CSPM across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ZTNA for network access, endpoint protection across your team's devices, and code security across your repos. 20modules, all built in house.
Compliance automation runs as a byproduct. Controls are continuously mapped and evidence flows from the security modules into your audit trail, so SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS readiness becomes live data, not screenshots from last quarter. VAPT delivered by OSCP-certified engineers in 2 weeks. AI Security Q&A pre-fills enterprise questionnaires from live platform data.

"Comprehensive Cybersecurity & Compliance Automation — Feature-Rich, Scalable, and Cost-Effective for Startups" Posted 2026-08-12
Pros: Osto’s biggest advantage is unifying multiple security and compliance capabilities into a single platform, eliminating the need to stitch together separate tools for WAF, endpoint protection, cloud security posture management (CSPM), IAM, compliance automation, and VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing). This “single pane of glass” approach provides 360° visibility across cloud, application, endpoint, and network layers, reducing blind spots that occur when using fragmented tools.
Cons: Need more compliance automation integrations which I believe will be added sooner or later
Overall: Overall, Osto is best suited for fast-moving startups and growing businesses that need enterprise-grade security and compliance without a large IT team, offering strong value through consolidation and speed-to-compliance, though organizations with specialized security needs or tight budgets may want to evaluate alternatives
