Cons: I have been having some issues with the webhooks but nothing major and they have been very responsive

Overall: I love using nickel, it's a great reliable product with no hidden fees unlike other tools that we have used before

Pros: Nickel makes handling both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) simple. I like that I can send and receive ACH payments completely for free. It also lets me pass credit card processing fees directly to the customer, which saves my business a lot of money.

Cons: They do not offer international payment options right now. They also don't allow you to transfer funds between internal Nickel accounts directly.

Overall: The interface is clean and relatively easy to navigate. I can easily create invoices, track my AP and AR, and manage all five of my businesses in one place without getting confused. Payments process fast and securely. I feel totally safe running large amounts of money through their system.

Pros: Nickel is incredibly easy to use, and their customer support is top notch. Best of all, our vendors and customers consistently tell us how much they appreciate the smooth payment experience on their end.

Cons: Honestly, nothing significant comes to mind. The platform has been straightforward and easy to use from day one, and any questions we've had were quickly resolved by their support team.

Overall: Nickel has been a great addition to our business. The platform is simple and easy to use, customer support is top notch, and our vendors and customers love how smooth the payment process is on their end. Highly recommend for any business looking to streamline payments

Pros: Nickel is very straight forward and easy to use. Payments get there fast and on time, and is very easy to pay vendors.

Cons: There is nothing I don't like so far. At first there were a couple features lacking but their development team is shipping new features weekly it seems like.

Overall: Nickel has been the easiest platform to use after using platforms like Melio, and Bill.com. We can't afford payments getting delay and creating more accounting work to do that you get with those platforms. Nickel has consistently paid vendors timely and syncs with QBO seamlessly.

Pros: Nickel is incredibly easy to use and has streamlined our payment collection process. I especially appreciate how easy it is to track outstanding invoices, see payment statuses at a glance, and send reminders when needed. It has saved our team time and improved our overall accounts receivable process.

Cons: So far, I haven't encountered any significant drawbacks. Our experience has been very positive, and the platform has met our needs well.

Overall: Our overall experience with Nickel has been excellent. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and has made managing invoices and collecting payments much more efficient. It has simplified our workflow, improved visibility into outstanding payments, and saved our team valuable time.

Pros: The payments are basically effortless for our residents. I set up a link for them to pay their HOA dues and that's it.

Cons: I wish I could set an amount and time that the HOA dues are due and then the resident could pay on their own terms.

Overall: It's wonderful and easy to use. The Nickel team have always been great at helping me resolve issues on the few that have arrived,

Pros: I used a very large bookkeeping software and payment service company for 20 years, and was looking for someone that could provide me better service for a reasonable price. I spoke to several potential replacements, and settled on Nickel payment services due to the payment plan simplicity and the payment interface. The interface is clean, easy to use, and doesn't overcomplicate my life. I am so glad I moved to Nickel, it has made my life more efficient.

Cons: The interface is totally different that what I'm used to, but after a week, I find its easier to use and easier to find things when I need them.

Overall: Surpassed all my expectations. Easy to use, good functionality, and priced right. It took me a week to get used to the interface. I especially like they way Nickel handles NSF payments.

Pros: Integration with Quickbooks Online is very reliable. Super easy to onboard new vendors and make vendor payments.

Cons: ACH direct despoit payments take a bit longer than we'd like.

Overall: Super easy to implement overall. Responsive customer service. We mostly use as a vendor payment portal and it is far more effective than our bank's billpay system.

Pros: I like that Nickel was easy to set up, has unlimited free ACH transactions in the month and customer service is easy to reach.

Cons: I don't really have much dislikes - but if I had to say something, perhaps the lead time for the ACH payments to hit the bank account.

Overall: My experience has been positive - when changing payment processing, one worries, especially with a new company. that there could be issues, but it has been a smooth experience from set up to the first payment processed.

Pros: Ease of use, I process payments very easily with Nickel. The link makes it quick and easy for my customer's to make their payments.

Cons: Thus far, I have not run into any problems with Nickel that would make me dislike the program.

Overall: Very positive, makes processing payments quick and easy. We make our money faster as a result of the payment link being intuitive for our customer's to navigate.

Pros: I use Nickel for direct deposits to independent contractors. It integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks, saving me time and costs. The setup was easy, and I previously faced issues using Zelle and Venmo. I highly recommend Nickel, rating it a ten for its efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Cons: I have nothing negative to report. My experience has been nothing but positive.

Using the Bill Pay app that works seamlessly with QuickBook allows me to quickly pay my contractors without any hassle. The initial setup for using Nickel was effortless. I was able to easily send requests to my contractors to obtain their banking information, simplifying the onboarding process. This ease of setup was instrumental in getting started with Nickel without facing any challenges. Overall, Nickel offers an intuitive, cost-effective solution that streamlines my workflow, making my financial management more efficient and less time consuming.

Pros: I appreciate the service Nickel provides for payment processing. It doesn't penalize customers or business with constant fees when using bank account payments. Automated reminders, a professional personalized payment portal, and diverse integration options add significant value. The initial setup was also very easy making the transition from Quickbooks smooth and hassle free.

Cons: I have no dislikes at this time. I think that this payment processing option is worth the time and effort it takes to obtain.

Overall: I am more than pleased with their services. Whenever I need assistance, someone is always available either by chat or by phone. But I have rarely needed assistance due to the ease of use with this program. I would encourage anyone to use them.

Cons: Because its new, its not integrated into our practice management and invoicing software yet but we will continue to use it.

Overall: I highly recommend for companies looking for an easy ACH solution. It is incredible easy to use, its free, and its incredibly easy to set up.

Pros: Easy to use ACH bank transfer processing. The option to automatically add 3% to all credit card transactions.

Cons: There is no mobile application. The website is nearly unusable on mobile, which is a real shame. It needs a mobile app ASAP so users can send invoices on the go.

Overall: Ever since Quickbooks started charging for ACH banks transfers, I've been on the lookout for a new platform that does not charge for this. I have a small wedding photography business (Kyle Carnes Photography) and I hate giving away money needlessly to credit card companies.

Then I found Nickel, which not only doesn't charge for ACH bank transfers, but they also allow adding a 3% processing fee to all credit card payments. There is also no subscription fee. This is huge for my business.

I also love that the platform is so intuitive and easy to use. It doesn't have a bunch of feature bloat. Just quick and easy invoicing and payment processing.

You can get to sending out your first invoice within minutes with your business branding and easy payment options.

While ACH payments can take a few days to enter my bank, this is normal for the industry, so it's to be expected and doesn't take any longer than other platforms.

If you're looking for a more feature-rich platform with accounting and all that then Nickel possibly might not be for you. But if you just want to simply send competent invoices and circumvent credit card processing fees then Nickel fits the bill.

Pros: Easy to set up and utilize. It has taken me a little while to figure out how to organize things best so that I can find invoices easily, but that was user error and now that I've figured that out its been smooth sailing.

Cons: I wish it had a line by line where it added up the invoices for you - for instance if you are adding three invoices - it has a line for each one and adds up the total. Just keeps human error out of it.

Overall: If you are looking for a great way to invoice clients, I would not hesitate to try Nickel. It has saved us at least $1,000 this year and my clients say it is easy to use and they like it.

Pros: We love that the most basic features are free and we really don't need to upgrade AT ALL to do what we need to. We love that it's free, it integrates with QuickBooks AND it can replace QuickBooks' payment link with it's only payment link (which helps us reduce the merchant fee down to NOTHING). It's very easy to set up and even easier to use.

Cons: As an accounting firm who has set this us (and maintains this) for a lot of our clients, it's a pain in the butt that we can't adjust the permission levels for the team members we add to our firm Nickel account. I don't want some of my employees seeing what bills we are paying and how much they're for (especially if they're to other independent contractors/subcontractors). Our work around is adding critical team members directly into each client's Nickel account however, that takes away one of the free seats AND that means team members have to have a UNIQUE login to each client's Nickel account because Nickel does not allow your email to be associated with several Nickel accounts. Our workaround, that Nickel support helped us with, is to create a unique email login for each client.

Overall: Overall, I would highly recommend this payment processor over other processors because it's free, easy to use, secure and integrates with QuickBooks. I hope they ALWAYS have a free plan to service all the small businesses out there!

Pros: We’ve definitely seen noticeable savings on our credit card processing fees and ACH transfers compared to our previous provider. The platform is both secure and user-friendly. It's clear they genuinely care about helping businesses keep more of what they earn.

Cons: Some certain features available in QuickBooks invoicing don’t carry over from the Nickel system. For example, I miss being able to see when an invoice email has been opened and viewed.

Overall: Their system is reliable, easy to use, and their team has been professional and responsive every step of the way.

Pros: Nickel is easy to use. The 2-way integration with QBO works seamlessly. Their customer support is quick and responsive. The system is easy to use.

Cons: The only feature I see that is still lacking is the multiple level approval process. They only allow a single level approval process.

Overall: I am happy with Nickel and will continue to use it. It's customer support and ease of use are what keep me using it.

Pros: Nickel processes are very efficient, user friendly and professional. The value is unparalleled as they offer free services in which even my bank would charge me monthly fees. The customer support is phenomenal as they are responsive and knowledgeable. Yes - I speak to a human who helps whenever there is need. Nickel processing helps me support my clients with easier ways to make payments in a very professional and efficient manner without all of the fees others are charging! Thank you, Nickel!

Cons: I would like to have the recurring payment feature without a monthly fee. Beyond this one feature - I have been very pleased with every aspect of Nickel.

Overall: Nickel provides me an economical, efficient and professional way of processing payments without the fees that are being charged in the industry. Pros: We are definitely happy with using Nickel since we signed up! We’ve had issues in the past with others customer service being poor or processing times for payments delayed, but we’ve had a great experience with Nickel!

Cons: We’ve been using Nickel quite awhile now and don’t have anything negative to report!
