    "This company is a scam."

    Posted 2025-04-29

Pros: They were friendly, I’ll give them that. But I’d be nice too if I were buttering someone up…these people are awful

Cons: Everything. They will say anything with no intent to follow thru.

Overall: This company has been absolutely awful.
I contacted them regarding merchant processing. I advised my sales rep S. Azhar exactly what my business needed in a terminal, I got a terminal delivered and it didn't work for our business, I contacted my rep at NRS who advised they would ship the correct one, between the time the old terminal and new terminal were swapped, roughly a weeks time (never ran a customers
card) I was charged $35. They then send a second terminal, STILL not correct for our business despite the sales rep assuring he understood the needs and this was
the correct terminal. I get the second useless terminal delivered,
They just billed me another 35$
Two weeks. No working terminal, So far $70 in fees for a service I haven't used
once. S. Azhar promised a refund, that refund never
came. I've now paid 70$ in fees to a company that hasn't processed a single dollar in customer card
    transactions.
Furthermore, on my application I advised my sales rep what our monthly sales volume was, he altered our application, lowering the amount of avg monthly sales from near 50k down to 5k - grossly incorrect, all but guaranteeing a freeze on future processing once we began using NRS due to the large discrepancy in what we told NRS our sales monthly avg vs what he put on the
application and submitted. Seems he was more concerned with getting the commission from onboarding a new merchant than actually being transparent and honest and making sure we were set for our business
relationship with NRS. This isn't a company you want to join forces
with. They will put a spear thru your back as soon as
you think you can trust them. When it comes to business and money, you need
someone you can trust handling it.
You need a reliable processor. Imagine swiping a 5-10k transaction, letting the customer leave with the product/service and then days later find out that your funds are frozen due to a large ticket sale that's "out of the norm" based on what your sales rep altered on your
    original application.
    Feeling a lot like...
"get em signed up and approved however necessary, bill them fees regardless of service used, promise to fix things you have no intention
of fixing and let the merchant figure the rest out."
This is not how I want to do business. This company has hidden fees. This company is not transparent or honest, this company will
nickel and dime you to death.
Stay away. *UPDATE prior to posting this review S Azhar reached out and ASSURED ME I WOULDNT BE CHARGED AGAIN AND ID HAVE THE NEW
TERMINAL BY MAY 1. TODAY 4/29 | was charged ANOTHER FEE, we are now at $105 in fees for service I never used, AND THE PROPER TERMINAL IS STILL NOT ON THE WAY A DAY BEFORE THE PROMISED
DATE AND THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME!
    This company is a SCAM.

    "Substandard equipments and Support"

    Posted 2024-09-20

Pros: Interface is good, inventory module is nice to add new products and quantity. It’s good system when it works but it is highly unstable.

Cons: I bought NRS POS System in July 2024 and system was delivered in the first week of August which was installed by us since they don’t send any technicians for installation, however they provide online support for installation.

Last 1.5 months there credit card processing machine has been giving us trouble on and off. All of a sudden during some transactions the card reader will go blank and POS will hang and become unresponsive.

We have complained at least 10 times and ever time support person will tell our credit card system was not updated and we are updating now and your problem will be resolved. But next time they will tell the same thing, update the system and story continues

Then second excuses they give us that your internet connection is not stable. They will ask me to sent picture of all connections which I have sent 3-4 times

Other irritating thing they will call back at the core business times when we are busy at the store

Today one of their support person confirmed me that their credit card machines is having some technical glitch and they will replace it. So why did they supplied faulty system to us.

Because of these issues I have to continue with parallel credit card processing machines of clover provided by TD bank merchant services which works flawlessly but I end up paying for 2 systems one is NRS and second one is TD bank.

Lot of time our customer get frustrated since payment doesn’t go through properly and they have to wait longer

In short I have got frustrated in last 1.5 months, their technical support is very poor and rather than correcting the errors they keep finding stupid excuses. As a business I need a reliable and stable system which is lacking in NRS POS system.

Overall: I want them to fix my problems and compensate me for my business loss and mental trouble caused by this stupid system and their substandard support.

    "NRS POS+ review"

    Posted 2023-03-25

    Pros: No pros at all.

Cons: I ordered POS system 15 days back, I started my business after a week it started blinking screen, and after days it become worst and we can see or touch anything. I called them they say will do replace because it falls under warranty. I waited 15 days still didn’t receive my POS system replaced. I called them every day, emailed them, they says will create label once label created I asked Fedex people they said, NRS team never did that or handed over to them.

Overall: They are frauds, i called again they said different departments taking care and they don’t have departments number or email. I don’t have anywhere to go and I am loosing business (money) and customers every day since I don’t have pos working.

"Hidden Recurring costs not a good business model"

    Posted 2022-06-06

Pros: Easy to setup and configure, simple to use. Would be a great platform if all features were available.

Cons: Predatory licensing model, not as responsive after the sale, off shore support

Overall: We went with NRS for our first POS and were shocked by the hidden recurring costs. This company tends to nickel and dime you, and if you don't want their OWN advertisements running on the customer facing screen you have to pay a monthly charge that amounts to hundreds of dollars a year. Each little service or add-on also carries a monthly cost. We have decided to move away from this platform after about 1 week in use.
