About MouthWatch Button Capture

MouthWatch Button Capture is a Windows utility for taking intraoral photographs with a MouthWatch camera and sending them to compatible dental imaging software. The program runs from the Windows system tray, where users choose an imaging application or the TWAIN option; pressing the camera’s capture button then triggers image capture in the selected workflow. Supported configurations can place images directly in the active patient record, supporting clinical documentation, patient education, and treatment-planning discussions. A Windows Camera app workflow is also available for capturing images to the computer when dental imaging software is not in use. Button Capture is designed as a companion to MouthWatch intraoral cameras, not as a separate dental imaging or practice-management application. It is intended for dentists and dental teams who use intraoral photographs during examinations and patient communication.
