Pros: What I like most is how much capability Xiaomi packed into a model this cheap. The 1M-token context window means I can use it for big repos, long documents, agent histories, and mixed-media workflows without constantly worrying about context limits. It is also genuinely useful beyond text. I can feed it images, video, audio, and text in the same workflow, which makes it a strong fit for agents, document processing, visual analysis, and automation.
Cons: The main downside is that I would still reach for MiMo-V2.6-Pro when I need maximum reasoning depth or I am working on something especially difficult or high-stakes. Flash feels more like the everyday workhorse.
Overall: Overall, MiMo-V2.6-Flash is one of the best value models I have used for coding, multimodal work, automation, and agent workflows. It is fast, extremely inexpensive, and capable enough that I can use it for a huge percentage of my day-to-day AI work without feeling like I am making a big compromise.
