MeridianLink Opening

Pros: Excellent account opening program. Allows a lot of customization to suit credit union/banking needs!

Cons: Very little is lacking in this system. With the recent upgrades though, the first time opening the program leads to a lot of jumbled information.

Overall: Overall, it's been a fantastic experience. I enjoy how customizable the new program is. I can focus on how I underwrite loans and bring into focus what I need to.

Pros: It's a lot easier than the old version of the system. I like how straight forward and easier to find that everything is.

Cons: I don't think there's anything that is worth mentioning.

Overall: It's made account opening a lot easier. Every experience has been smooth for the most part, and the only part that hasn't been smooth is me forgetting my password when funding accounts. But that's not the sites fault.

Pros: One thing I love about MeridianLink, is the tool feature and the ability to filter my queue to my personal preference. I enjoyed the import feature as well; it makes it so much easier to open a second loan application for the same member.

Cons: At times the system runs slow, however the turnaround time for the issue to be resolved is super-fast! Another issue experience was credit not being pulled correctly for members.

Overall: Overall, I would have to say I truly enjoyed the product and how easier it has made my job! I would recommend this product to anyone who would like to make the job more efficient.

Pros: I like the simplicity and flow of Meridian Link, the calculation tools, filling out applications is super easy and efficient. side loading funded loans into my companies banking soft wear always works as expected and MeridianLink hardly every has any soft wear bugs and when they do the fix is usually very fast!

Cons: I wish there was more customization on my working queue like filters for client I need to revisit, or ones that I am waiting on me to respond, leaving notes and comments for just me to view regarding the client so I can make sure I'm keeping track of things instead of keeping it in my head or on another application. 4 months ago for 1 day only, they changed the way comments were visually displayed and it was great being able to see notes just on the front screen but then they removed it, and we never saw it again. I would like to see more customization for organizing our applications.
I would like to see some edits to the trade line screen for manual changes or the ability to copy application that I created to the trade line for other requests to be visible. it can get very confusing to be working on 2 or 3 refinances with 1 client so some changes to the trade lines on the underwriting tab would be very nice to see

Overall: over all the application functions great works well, does exactly what we need it to do. It is easy to use and understand, load times a normally fast and there's hardly any issues/ bugs. great product for banking/lending

Pros: I love the flow of MeridianLink. It is easy to use and easy to navigate. It gives warnings when needed. Overall the flow is nice.

Cons: I don't like the new look. It runs together and is easier to overlook places. Also the new MeridianLink glitches and doesn't save information a lot. Gets frustrating.

Overall: Overall MeridianLink is very easy to use. I just prefer the older version best. Had less issues. Which I know the newer version may just still have kinks to work out.

Pros: easy in use as take content as far placing information and timely response and using equipment and customer services.

Cons: none right now that i can think of far as immediate issues

Pros: User friendly, has gotten quicker with recent updates, different colors make it easier to arrange status on loans.

Cons: Still some minor bugs on software such as giving errors when searching for member's branch and not saving when half if the vehicles if is typed.

Overall: I think it's a great software to use in general. I've noticed how more updates are being released which has helped with my experience with it!

Pros: The format is simplistic in a good way. People that are new to the program will have no trouble learning how to use it effectively.

Cons: How it puts data into list can be improved. Selecting from a drop-down menu should not be as difficult as it currently is.

Overall: Overall, it is a very good experience that rarely has any system issues. In the realm of loan processing, It's definitely a quality product.

Pros: Consumer friendly interface, easy to quote members and make changes to applications! Color coded interface makes it easy to organize at a glance.

Cons: Sometimes comments do not save, but other than that there are not many issues.

Overall: Overall, I enjoy using this product every day! It makes my job as a loan officer easy. I like the color coded feature and ability to add comments without needing to open the application.

Pros: Easy to read and navigate, clean view, less information required, while I like the view everything looks the same.

Cons: Saving errors, hate that the color feature for applications and comments are gone.

Overall: Good, easy to read and navigate, missing the color coded applications by type, comments by user was also helpful.

Pros: The Access product is easier and more customizable than the Portal product, which is nice. It was extremely difficult to customize the portal applications as you could change which page contained which questions.

Cons: Interaction between online experience and backend setup could be better. First line support folks need trained better for new products.

Overall: The portal product for online applications is very difficult to use and customize. Access makes it a bit easier, but when you change one thing, it can inadvertently effect other stuff so you have to retest the entire application process to verify that everything works still. Changing multiple things can be cumbersome. Also, in the backend, settings have to be changed in multiple places to work correctly and make sure mapping doesn't break to your core systems.

Pros: The new update works well. Can navigate through application with ease. Happy with the new update....

Cons: Unable to access "view comments" from inside an app.

Pros: I have used different applications and this one by far is the most streamlined. I enjoy how everything is in one place and you can easily input information. The system helps guide you through the process and lets you know if you are missing information. When working on loans we can easily access different tabs and adjust things as needed. For us this is a one stop shop.

Cons: It would be nice to have a more detailed recent tab. Currently only the last 5 are displayed. Its not a deal breaker but an update would be nice.

Overall: Overall I definitely recommend, the application is super easy to use. Our team likes how streamlined everything is.

Pros: MeridianLink Opening offers a lot of flexibility and customization, which is one of its biggest strengths. There are plenty of options available to tailor products, workflows, and the overall account opening experience to fit our needs. The platform supports a variety of account types and integrates with many third-party systems. I also appreciate the regular enhancements and new features.

Cons: One of our biggest frustrations is the Symitar integration. Because a member number isn't generated until the account is created, we can't populate that information on documents before the account opening process is complete. This creates extra steps and workarounds for our staff. The funding process could also be more streamlined, as it doesn't always feel like a natural flow for the member. Some areas of the platform can be complex to configure, and reporting isn't always as intuitive as we'd like.

Overall: Overall, MeridianLink Opening is a solid account opening platform with a lot of functionality and customization options. While there are some workflow and integration challenges that we'd like to see improved, particularly around member number creation and funding, the platform has helped us expand our digital account opening capabilities and gives us the flexibility to build processes that fit our organization.
