"Really good platform" Posted 2026-09-17
Pros: What I like most is being able to use different AI providers without rebuilding my workflow or losing the context of an ongoing conversation. The browser extension can work with the tabs I explicitly provide, while the approval modes and human-in-the-loop controls let me decide exactly what the agent can execute. The agent builder, connectors, local model support, and browser automation are also brought together in one platform rather than spread across several separate tools.
Cons: Because Melaya covers several products and advanced capabilities, there is still a learning curve during the initial setup. But honestly once you know how to use it it's actually pretty easy.
Overall: I use Melaya regularly to test AI models, automate browser-based tasks, build agents, and connect AI to the tools involved in my workflows. Its biggest advantage is control: I can choose the model or provider, decide where the agent operates, and require human approval for sensitive actions.

The platform is ambitious and still maturing, but it already replaces several disconnected AI tools with one consistent environment. It is particularly useful for people who want more flexibility than a single AI provider can offer and more control than fully autonomous automation provides.
