reCore is a cloud-based ITAD platform that helps electronics recyclers, refurbishers, and IT teams diagnose, wipe, grade, and certify retired hardware from one system, with zero on-premise servers to set up. Devices boot from USB, PXE, or ISO and report live to a cloud dashboard through intake, testing, wiping, grading, and completion — multiple devices at once, no external hardware needed. Diagnostics run 23 automated tests across CPU, storage, display, battery, and ports in under 8 minutes per device. Data erasure follows NIST SP 800-88 Rev 2 (Clear, Purge, Secure/Crypto Erase) with per-drive SHA-256 verification, enforced separation of duties, and automatic tamper-evident certificates. Cosmetic grading uses a 7-component defect catalog where the lowest-scoring component sets the final grade, keeping results consistent across technicians. Multi-tenant access, technician KPIs, batch reporting, and a REST API round it out.
