Kapwing

Pros: All I wanted to do was to trim the ends of an existing video. All the programs I tried were (for my purposes) inadequately documented. This one made sense. I'm looking forward to trying it with a slightly more involved project.

Cons: Only that they must have a maximum file size but I never saw it stated anywhere.

Overall: Delighted.

Pros: When it works, Kapwing is great for basic video editing; I completed one simple project with it quickly and easily.

Cons: When it doesn’t work, Kapwing is an endless sequence of false starts, frustrations, and failures. After a parade of error messages and bizarre glitches, I gave up on using Kapwing for my second project (which was very basic and functionally identical to the first project). Customer service was unhelpful and, after an initial faux-friendly fauxpology, blatantly rude. Their stance was quite clearly "we don't care if our product worked for you; we already have your money."

Overall: My experience with Kapwing was perfectly satisfactory, right up until it was profoundly terrible. I imagine some users never run into bugs and remain satisfied customers—but there is a non-zero number of major bugs to run into, and zero consideration for dissatisfied customers.

Pros: Free to use all features just sign in to remove watermarks. Easy to use. Have used it for various projects without much of an issue out side of operator error :-)

Cons: I have been using Kapwing a couple times a week for a couple of months now and for what it is... no complaints.

Overall: This is a program I would fully recommend! I am techy challenged so if I can use Kapwing I believe anyone can.

Pros: The interface is clean, and easy enough to navigate. The instructional videos are clear and to the point.

Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve, as with any product one is not familiar with.

Overall: Happy enough with my initial experience of Kapwing, and I look forward to learning how to use more of the tools available on there website.

The quality of the video I made is very good.

Pros: Online video editor... no watermark... friendly... easy to use... good layout... full of features... Best rating.

Cons: None... you will not regret it... really have nothing bad to say... honestly.

Overall: Best in the world! No BS. They just let you use their full features for nothing. I feel obliged to give a review because of that!

Pros: You can edit anywhere as long as you have internet connectivity. You can edit videos using your laptop or tablet. Even an old model will do because there is no installations needed.

Cons: I am still experimenting. I wonder if the features I am expecting is available in this web app.

Overall: Ease of use, so you can use it for news production, project in school, or even in the company you are employed at.

Pros: Ease of use and intuitiveness.
Great support for audio.
Super easy to export.
Can be used from a different device since it is online.

Cons: Pricing, making it free and add ads when exporting.

Overall: Overall I believe this is one of the best softwares that me and my peers use for making memes and stuff so I reckon there is a huge market for them and they should seize the opportunity and make a business model out of this.

Pros: It's free, easy to use, and doesn't leave you a watermark if you just login with your email.
The application as a whole is responsive and easy to use
Adding subtitles is a breeze.

Cons: There is not much to dislike about the product, but if I had to point out something it would be improving the upload speed and final rendering of the video.

Overall: Overall, it's a great tool if you are looking for a free software to edit your videos. But be prepared to wait for the videos to upload and render.

Pros: Very easy to use, great content to choose from, i'm finding myself having a hard time deciding if I want to use Kapwing or Canva.

Cons: I hate to say it but the full subscription is a little steep but not as high a price as other platforms.

Overall: I love it. I have a year subscription with Canva but I found myself using them equally. I do plan to get the pro version just as soon as I get the money.

Pros: Very easy to use and is a free service. There is also an option to take out watermarks for free which is very nice.

Cons: Videos are limited to a certain time limit. You must pay to increase the limit.

Overall: I would definitely recommend this service to someone interested in making video content or anyone who wants to edit family photos.

Pros: It is very easy to use and the free version has so many features which is why i would recommend it to everyone.

Cons: Well the only cons i've seen yet is actually not a con it's just personal. I can't afford the premium version.

Overall: I love this product, i have been using it for a while and it has helped me a lot in making, logo's banners, thumbnails and many more.

Pros: Simple design and workspace. Not a heavy software. Direct easy to use tools. Easy to import and export files. Easy to use/edit the timeline space. Great archive compilation of images and gifs. Easy to mix elements together (like audio, image and video). No watermark on the trial account.

Cons: 1 - I could not construct my "ideas trials" easily because the files kept being locked. So i would lose templates and ideas. I understand that is a free account.

2 - No numerological display size of elements, like rectangles or lines (mm/cm/pixel).

Overall: Excellent. For me It's the best software that i used until now, in terms of creating and editing. I used others software that was either complicated or "heavy" to use.

Pros: Beats looking for it on hacked websites that pop up never-ending spyware. I got my first song released 6 years ago just as good as the anime where I heard it.

Cons: Are you kidding? I don't have any cons to report.

Overall: Easy to use and I didn't need to read a VCR manual to get my first song!!! No pop ups or scams, just a nice clean program.

Pros: It is easy to understand and use. My videos now looks professional (when in reality I don't have that type of technical/graphic-design skills). I use the subtitle features on almost all my videos, It also has visualization sound effects that makes my recycled video podcast more engaging.

Kapwing have hundreds of (short straight to the point) video tutorial on their YouTube Channel (which demonstrate how to use each features).

They accommodated those of us that were just starting and not sure of purchasing any premium plan, by making all their features almost free (if sign into your Google account) and the upgrade is reasonably priced.

In this day and age, almost every business is also a media company and Kapwing help me to DIY. I produce content in mass for all major social media platform (customized for each platform's video resolution). It was instrumental in getting the required subscribers on YouTube via the uploads of YouTube-Shorts, and subsequently getting an additional source of income when I joined the YouTube Partnership Program 3 months ago.

Cons: If you are using the free version, I think after 3 days it locks your exported files until you upgrade.

Overall: It's smooth sailing. I love it for the fact that I can do it myself and it doesn't look too homemade or armature.

I can make video contents and memes at scale. From my experience unfortunately, if I can't pay for ads, I have to publish lots of content on social media to be noticed (multiple time a day).

Pros: -Very easy to work.
-Fast video production.
-Wide variety of free sounds.
-Easy edit functions and implementation.

Cons: -None for something that is free for all.

Overall: Kapwing is an easy to use platform which is really good for most basic video editing. I use it to make YouTube shorts and it works perfectly.

Pros: I use this to add subtitles. The paid automatic subs feature seems good, but the manual one works pretty smoothly, once you get the hang of it.

Cons: Not enough support for keyboard navigation, and using the mouse can be tedious.

Overall: It does the job, and the results can be shared. There'd probably be more to say if I'd tried the full subscription version.

Pros: Literally nothing. Everything about it was awful. I've never had such a terrible experience with an app.

Cons: Everything. It sucks. The customer service is awful, the app is glitchy. They will not issue a refund or pro-rated amount if you decide to cancel.

Overall: THIS SOFTWARE IS A SCAM AND A JOKE! -- Not a funny joke, either. I used their BS software for one project and it was working okay, and then upgraded to Pro thinking that I needed it. I later found out that my husband had already purchased a different software for us to use (a better one) and contacted them no less than 12 hours later to ask for a refund. They denied my request for a refund and the customer service was RUDE about it. I even offered to pay a pro-rated rate or a monthly subscription, but again that request was ignored. I started messing around in the software to see about canceling my other software instead, but it's absolute crap. Tons of bugs, glitches, slow loading, the music doesn't sync properly, you can't even search for the tracks you want... IT'S A TOTAL SCAM! BEWARE!

Pros: Great comfort to use & great experience to have. I used the subscription tool & it was comfortable to use.

Cons: It would be great!! if the pricing would be a little bit less, would highly appreciate that. Or may be they can give a scope to subscribe to a particular tool, like I need only the subscript tool, so if there would be an option to subscribe to a particular tool for a lesser price, then it would be great!!

Overall: Good & Great. So far the experience was good. I am very much eager to go with it. You people should definitely try.

Pros: Easy and fast. For beginner, it is really suitable. There's no requirement in skill, money, or computer's specification to add subtitle freely.

Cons: I think there's no cons. Maybe because I used it in free version. I don't know and have any comments for the pricing version.

I've actually found no defects using Kapwing. It's great and cool.

Overall: Using Kapwing has given me a great sense that something perfect do exist; Kapwing is just too perfect. I love everything from their easy-to-use design, to their auto-subtitle feature. It's a great online machine.
